So I know there’s gotta be other people out there excited about the release of the new Batman Movie The Dark Knight, or is it just me? This is a tribute to possibly one of my favourite movies! This is also one of my first really serious attempts at creating some digital artwork in Photoshop. This is the result of me having a lot of time, sitting at home sick when I should be at work. The question is can you see Batman?? For this I started off with one of my pics of Melbourne, Australia from Southbank which was a HDR from 3 exposures. I then added in bats, flood lights, batman, the moon etc. and then once again a lot of tinkering in Lightroom to finetune :) Click here for my other images of Melbourne

After many shots of this same scene before HDR I felt there was something here to be told through the story of Art and high dynamic range photography has brought it out in this shot of the Sydney skyline.

Time in Hong Kong went really fast. Time for photos was limited. This is one hectic modern city, filled with an amazing number of people, living, surviving and dreaming together, closer than one can imagine. Hence when you look at the shot all the little lights represent someones dream, their aspirations, their life…. Photo Taken: 28-Oct-2007 / Time: 6:30pm / Conditions: Hazy, warm night in Hong Kong / / / / / / / / / / Some other art taken in Hong Kong: / / / / / /

This shot was taken a few years back during our trip to China. Hong Kong is a great city. I’m not much of a city fan, but there is something magic about Hong Kong and I tried to bring home a little of that magic. Also available as wallpaper

Being an environmentally friendly artist.. I decided I wanted to make the city a little “greener”. My advice is get it printed big.. because 1) it looks rather excellent printed big.. and 2) I make more money. Imagine this on your wall in your living room.. and the neighbours saying “he’s not very good he can’t even draw straight lines !” Available as a signed limited edition print direct from artist.

While traveling in China recently, this series of photographs shows the window view we had from the different hotels that we stayed in. /
