I was playing around with a sunset photo I had taken, when I got the idea for a planet similar to Earth, populated with humanoid type creatures who find something to grumble about regardless of the situation. Their conversation might go something like: I can’t believe it Zhrikplatth, that’s the third time this Dasnuba that the skyhop has been late. Keep your veins in, Krryp, at least we can enjoy another methane sunset while we wait.
This is picture three in a series of artworks which are composed from images and re-done in composite form. I was trying to catch the essence of a modern concrete jungle and it’s parts. The originals are 500×500 canvas prints.
This is picture is from an original artwork composed from graffiti elements found around various cities and re-done in composite form. The original is a 500×500 canvas print.

This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’

O city, city To live between terms, to live where death has his loud picture in the subway ride, Being amid six million souls, their breath An empty song suppressed on every side, Where the sliding auto’s catastrophe Is a gust past the curb, where numb and high The office building rises to its tyranny, Is our anguished diminution until we die. Whence, if ever, shall come the actuality Of a voice speaking the mind’s knowing, The sunlight bright on the green windowshade, And the self articulate, affectionate, and flowing, Ease, warmth, light, the utter showing, When in the white bed all things are made. “A Moment of Reflection” / oil on canvas – original sold Like this painting? this is a combination manip/painting / I’ve been working on this for a couple of weeks – a little each night. I tried to add a lot more depth and light from the wet street. More shadows too….I wanted it to be modern – yet at the same time, have a long ago feeling. Does that make sense? / I didn’t want it completely straight either – meaning I wanted a tad of the impressionistic style. I got tired at the end – and my brush strokes got a bit sloppy at the top…but I went back and tried to make it better. I made this for a fried of mine who loves England…. / (a birthday present).
