Others to come. MELBOURNE IN PHOTOS

  • View of Melbourne by night from Southbank. It was a mild winters night and we weren’t the only photographers out and about! Thanks for the Canon DSLR feature- Taken with Canon 40D, 17-85 mm lens at 17mm, tripod, remote shutter release, f4, 5 secs, 100 ISO. Great camera!

  • Pulled out of the archives from a while ago… A 3 exposure HDR in Photomatix software. This photo was taken with my old Canon 300D, I had a fair bit of trouble deciding what white balance to go with but I think it worked out ok. This image was taken on the same night as the following images: Click here for my other images of Melbourne

  • A black and white edit of the CBD from just outside the Melbourne Aquarium, wish it was a bit more still so the reflections came out a bit sharper but oh well! Taken with my old Canon 300D and converted to black and white in Lightroom 2.

  • best viewed using the VIEW LARGER function / Canon EOS 400D (528 views 10-11-2009) / I am re-submitting this after getting a bubble mail from my good friend Vikram who suggested a tighter crop… I gave it a go and bam, it made a huge difference! Thanks Vik for the good advice and for being honest with your feedback :) /
