During my three week stay in Italy last summer, I had taken around 200 to 300 pictures nearly each day I was there – it comes with the euphoria of being in a foreign country for the first time. This was one of them (out of nearly 3,800 total!) I’m still looking through all of them to see which ones are worthy of being taken into “the lab” hehe

I have made a modification to my Rome Calendar as the last page was of the Sistine Chapel, and while it was OK for my personal calendar, to make this page available for purchase is against copyright laws on the original painting. So I have replaced with the wonderful staircase in the museum. I took a number of photos, so I could photoshop people out and have just the staircase. I have applied the watercolour filter to match the other images in the calendar. Rome & Vatican City Calendar: / :

*location: Firenze (Florence), Italy is it any wonder that Michelangelo loved his hometown so much? I know I’ve been a tad M.I.A lately, guys… new job keeping me busy, still trying to earn enough money to travel again, and hopefully buy a Mac/ better camera… but still getting enough time to tweak more photos in the lab – this was another one of them :) Anybody know a good place/ way/ method of finding a new muse?
