  • Surfing and spending time at the beach were two of my main interests when I was growing up. I read a lot of surfing magazines and the style of art back in the late 1970’s used really bright colours and lots of them. This design was created in Photoshop and coloured using a gradient that replicates the colour combinations used at that time in the history of design. The two photographs in the image were captured using a 3.2 MP Sony Cyber-Shot.

Its been a while since i’ve posted anything on the bubble, i miss the bubble. Kids have kept me busy. I have not been online much, mason has not been well and my nerves are rattled by his health. What a a wonderful surprise to read my mail and find that some one had purchased a card “Will she make it oh my..” and another mystery buyer had bought “Lilliputs return” t-shirt. Thank you so much for your support….we did our famous bubble dance…Mason was so pleased that someone bought the t-shirt…he has one and wears it a lot….and Ireland is tickled pink that someone has purchased her image ….she worked hard on her dorothy image along side mom :) She asks me several times ” Mommy, did someone really buy it?” it has not sunk in yet but she is on cloud nine :)

  • This colony of space dwelling apes is defending one of its outpost planets from a furious sun god. This recently uncolonized planet is home to a variety of flora and fauna including, but not limited to, goldhorn elk, kaleidograss, and of course, my imagination. The apes are using a suction/light powered tube launcher to lob kamikaze baboons toward their certain dooms. .. to save the world. There are two people, regular homo sapiens, watching on a couch made out of stone and grass, far from the action. I found this one on CU Campus, so I’m glad I went back to school. I got a good series from this one. There is still some detailing/clean up left on this one.

The next level are moderate to good living people off to work in their cars to greet the daily, bump and grind, dine a dime again just for today, scratch and try to save all in one day to meet need with the 9 to 5’s. • I’ve been working with young school kids recently and this work is influenced by their way of seeing things. At this time of year it’s dark by 4pm and when it rains it can be quite dark inside during the day. We have been deluged by rain in recent weeks. I love the way kids aren’t afraid of using black.. Guess what.. its raining again !
