I was coming home yesterday from an appointment downtown, / and happened to look over and see this place. It was completely / abandoned, along with garages, a barn and cars. Didn’t go in, (yet..heh) but I got a few good shots from the front. I added the flood..(to go with the title.) / / CS3/Corel/handheld/Samsung/HDR / I can’t even begin to list all of the things I did to this. / One filter conversion to the next applying and painting certain areas with the saturation brush, then repeating the process + / overlays & more fine tuning! This is a friends loft I stay in sometimes when I visit St. Louis… I stay in the red side 2nd floor from the bottom.. .. The yellow one is the neighbors place… Each connected building stands 6 stories tall. Shot thru my window and some distorted broken bubble glass one day playing around with my close up lens.. I liked how each bubble gave a diff perspective of the buildings view. Uploaded for a Mood & Ambience group challenge Reflectiions in Metallic / / Nikon D60~ / Close up lens~ / St. Louis Mo. Boston Harbour very early morning with a lovely but fast moving mist gave the scene a lovely orange glow, I had just enough time in between lens changes to catch the rowers passing by. Canon 10D, 17-40mm at 17mm, f/4, 1/1500 sec, ISO 100. No filters used. A small amount of dust and scratches removed in photoshop. Back to Canon to get the sensor cleaned.
