The next addition to my Creepy Lil Kidz series ~ Lil Joker / and yes … it’s supposed to be crooked ;) A great scene from the movie ( and by the way , an AWESOME movie ! / “Wanna know how I got these scars? My father was….a drinker. And a fiend. And one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn’t like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. Turns to me and he says “Why so serious?” Comes at me with the knife,”Why so serious?” He sticks the blade in my mouth. “Lets put a smile on that face!” And….. Why so serious? “ Detail /

this was part of a little test I gave myself this weekend. I gave myself 5 minutes to sketch out whatever popped in my head , beginning to end 5 minutes , and however it came out was what I was running with …. then 10 minutes cleaning up on the comp , thats the reason for the simplicity of the design :)

Thank you Cimmerrian for taking part in this interview, and sharing a little more about yourself… Enjoy guys! How does being a creative person and pursuing your creativity affect other aspects of your life? Hmmm, let’s see…wait … I don’t have a life !? No , honestly , my art is my life , I know that sounds cliche’ and everyone says it ( ok not everyone , I mean I only know like 8 people , but they all say it ) but it truly is, I’ve been drawing since I could hold a crayon and for the most part my art stayed in sketchbooks stored in closets for years , till the internet gave me a place to share it with the world . It doesn’t matter what I’m doing , where I am , I see something and it gets ideas for designs flowing in my head like a damn broke, , and I find that I have to stop what I’m doing to jot the idea down , and if I’m real lucky I’m someplace where I can actually get a sketch out . I’m a people watcher and have a tendency to find humor in almost everyone and everything , I guess you could say I have a twisted perspective on life , and get lost in my own little world far too often , and sometimes for far too long . Not sure if that actually answered the question or not , I do tend to ramble ( Jen feel free to edit :) ) Tell us about one person or moment that has made your time on redbubble particularly special or meaningful Now that’s a toughie ….don’t know if I can pick just one moment , ok, ok I’ll pick only one, but only cuz it’s the rules and all ! I’d have to say that would be when I got my first Home Page feature here. I was so used to another POD site where my stuff seemed to get lost in a sea of works , never knowing if it was actually seen or not, and after I had been here @ a month my design “Lil Britches” was featured in the clothing section , and then the same week on the Home Page , I was so stoked !! It really was a feeling of ” I’ve finally arrived, someone else likes my work enough to showcase it on the front page of their site” , it was really an amazing feeling , I told everyone I knew about it . It brought me back to when I wa slittle and my mom hung my first drawing on the refridgerator , and I thought I was the bomb :) Show & tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you. hmm just 5 , again with all the rules and boundaries .. I’m an artist ( and I so use that term generously in my case …smart ass with a pencil is more accuarte ) we shoudl not have rules .. ok enough of my ” down with the man” rant …lol 1. Olechka’s ” It’s not Lupus ” is an absolute masterpiece ! She does things with a pencil that are almost inhuman , you realy have to check it out ..and it’s House ! He is bad-ass ! 2.Jennfer Woodward’s “Tranquil Beast” and I didn’t just choose it because she’s doing my interview ( though I’m hoping it encourages her to catch my good side :) j/k) / It’s an amazing piece and the story behind it is equally amazing as well as inspiring , be sure to check out this great piece or artwork and Oink , my favorite Water Buffalo in the whole world ! 3. Randy Monteith’s ” Life is not a Rehearsal” what can I say , if you’ve ever seen Randy’s work , and unless you live in a cave , I’m sure you have , the first word you must think when you look is “Wow” the guy is a genius and his work is always amazing ! This piece is my fav of his , there is no truer statement ! Check it out ! 4. Tom Godfrey’s “Sea Creature ” This piece blows my mind, his talent is endless and his attention to detail, incredible!! A true Master at his craft ! 5 Yanmos’ “H20” A wonderful piece sending a great message , anyone familiar with Yannis’ art has undoubtedly seen his passion for the environment and currnet events ring through in his art .. and his mantra ” wear your awareness” ! Always great work with wonderful messages , this is my fav though !
