  I was invited along to shoot a Christmas Carols Function last night! / Had a great time and thought I’d share if only just for the spirit of this time of year. / A few of us ended up back at the Musical Directors (Vincent Pulo) place at the end of the evening and / consumed some plonk and did the story telling thing till the early hours! / Anyways, Merry Christmas to all and may the New Year bring much creativity, peace and joy to you all. / If I could give you all a massive bear hug, you know I would!!   NEW Christmas Cards / Promotional Offer – Pack of 6 cards $21.60 / Send someone special one of these hand made wishes of hope!! / Let me know if you’d like me to personalise a card for you, I’ll be happy to… / —-—-—-—-—-—— / A Christmas Wish A star to light your way / A tree to help you breathe / A heart to help you live by Karin Taylor / —-—-—-—-—-—-——- / / The other day i began creating a new little range of Christmas Cards, in response to a challenge by Coppertrees and her Little Tree which she created in response to a poem about a little tree, there was a challenge to create something related to the poem, and I came up with the Christmas cards you’ve probably already seen I came up with the idea or concept…that tiny things are just as important as big things…. a tiny heart gifts as much life as a huge heart / a tiny tree gives us air to breathe / a tiny star provides light to guide us….. I drew each one of these symbols by hand, and painted them using pastels, coloured pencils, and marker pen….then i joined them altogether in photoshop to create a special Christmas wish, and added the poem under It matters not that things are small, or have small beginnings, they are still worthwhile, as worthwhile as the big things, and as it says in the song / from little things big things grow This is where the words on the front of the card stem from….. / I’ve kept the price lower for these cards, they are $3.60 each rather than the usual $4.95. I wanted to keep them affordable for multiple purchases. A pack of 6 cards would be $21.60 It’s also a nice Christmas message to put up for decoration around your home as a laminted print or poster on the wall, during the season of goodwill and thanksgiving.

  I know that everyone is busy with the upcoming season, but I wanted to take time just to say: I have belonged to alot of art sites, but RedBubble and all the artists and my friends here make a person feel that he/she is really wanted and that the art and photos they do are worth while, you all should give yourself a pat on the back for that. Its just a shame that the world is so big and most of us will never meet face to face and talk, laugh,and cry together.   Some people believe that multi-universes and multiple-dimensions that contain life are infinitely large and also infinitely small, and that our nuclear devices have the potential to disrupt or actually destroy entire infinitely small or dimensionally close domains that are teaming with life. Perhaps this potential threat that we pose to ourselves and to others is one of the reasons we are soon to be warned to alter our course; to transcend our destructive tendencies, become more enlightened, and develop in a more harmonious and compatible way. People are beginning to awaken spiritually and realize that everything is connected, that God and the creative force is within us and we are within it. That we need a new, more truthful, paradigm that allows us to be more loving, forgiving, peaceful, and whole. That we are co-creators of our future and of our perception of truth and reality. That we are all One, and that globally we are all One Family, and we should act accordingly, with an attitude of respect, dignity, and equality of value toward each other, the Earth, and toward all of life. Free will is a universal quality or characteristic that all high-level life shares, so these important choices are up to us. If good people work together we can overcome our cultural differences, embrace the vast diversity of life, solve our global problems, and change our evolutionary direction toward a more healthy and productive outcome.   Ok, I know if you live in a cold country then snow is really just annoying and wet and cold.. but when you live in a hot country, snow is exciting and magical. I am spending Christmas in a cold country and although I miss all that is a hot christmas with beach and swimming and sweat and flies.. I have been hanging out for the snow.. it has been freezing here.. well below freezing.. but before it wasn’t cold enough for snow and then up until today too cold.. but i’m pretty sure, when I went outside to brave the cold for a cigarette (really is a stupid habit!!) there were little specks of white stuff falling from the sky.. just a very little, and I had to concentrate to see it, but it made my heart skip a beat.. my christmas wish is granted! Hopefully there will be more to come.. because snow is magical.. although possibly driving in it will not be!
