We all need and hope for an angel to be watching over us, and this angel is especially for Christmas and the little one’s nursery. This one is so dear to my heart, and also especially designed for Christmas and the Calendars R Us Group Challenge for the next Christmas Calendar. I have been thinking about doing an angel for a long time, and finally this gave me the impetus to get moving on it. The brown paper is from a large roll of kraft, slathered with white gesso (acrylic paint) and handdrawn in pencil, then black felt pen…then coloured with colour pencil, chalk pastel, charcoal, and blended well….. later on, the design has been cut out in photoshop and a few extras applied to finish off…. A tshirt is available in this design also, and a children’s tee will soon be available through zazzle.

/ / / Love is a Big Hug / / / / Love is a Big Hug / / Love is a BIG Hug TShirt is my latest super-cute design on brown paper using mixed media… chalk pastels, charcoal, felt tip pen, coloured pencil and photoshop were used in this mixed media creation BEST VIEWED LARGE… JUST CLICK ON THE TEE TO SEE AN ENLARGED VERSION OF THE DESIGN For a long while now, i’ve had an image burned in my brain of a little girl holding out her heart… I have had dreams of myself doing the same sort of thing… and this was what i came up with. I didn’t mean for it to be so super-cute… perhaps i’ll do a more serious version someday…with her heart held in her hands… but for now, here’s the cute version…by far the cutest thing i’ve ever created! Stay tuned for the huge version of this design, as well a a pyjama top version!!! coming soon….to a bubble near you!!! I will also create some children’s tees over in zazzle and add them as links here shortly…

Santa had promised Mrs Claws that he would stop and take a cloud nap, at the first sign of fatigue, but that thought was far from his mind, when he was snapped back in his seat, then ripped forward as Rudolf increased power to overcome what he guessed must be turbulence drag. Poor Santa’s eyes literally popped out of his head with the sudden deceleration. Luckily he had modified his body, with a little off season genetic tinkering to cope with just this sort of eventuality. He had not survived for thousands of years without learning some very useful survival techniques along the way. He grinned at the image it must have presented, as his eyes recoiled and plopped back safely into their sockets. The presents were pulled slowly back into the sleigh, as the GPSS (Global Positioning Santa System) combined effectively with the microscopic magnetic linkers, built into the wrapping paper of the spilt gifts. He continued merrily on his way with no ill effects, save a slight twinge of conscience, knowing that the residents of Tjikavik would be without power on Christmas Eve. Well, the power lines weren’t there last year, he thought and he always like to do a low, high speed , fly past over the little hamlet. “Happy Christmas!” he yelled, in an attempt to make up for the power cut. Most of the windows in the tiny town shattered instantly with the sonic boom. He sped off, making a mental note to have a few words with the elf in charge of his Voice Magnifier.

Hello everyone, meet Kenny! Kenny’s a young baby tortoise.. He’s quiet and shy but very loving.. he loves to nudge Julian with his little head.. and with his super cute baby eyes, Julian can’t help but adopt lil Kenny as his godson.. (bet he didn’t know that lil Kenny will outgrow him in size one day.. kekeke…) Yep, Kenny’s currently living at the same beach Tim and Julian posed for Summer Fun.. XD / this is my first time coloring with a wacom.. pretty fun..
