I stopped up here to get this shot while we were snowmobiling. / I took this on the Trail going to Prairie, Idaho. This is at a crossroads section of the trail, one trail goes to Prairie, Idaho, the other to Fall Creek, Idaho. The early morning sunrise was so awesome over this sight of white. The sun just burst forth. I used a KODAK EASY SHARE CAMERA TO TAKE THIS SHOT. IT IS A AS IS SHOT.

  • This pic was taken in my parents’ garden in Abergele, North Wales in the middle of winter… / My parents thought that I was crazy trudging around in the garden with my tripod, but to me it was quite normal… Capturing the moment as usual… I might add some greeting text on the left hand side in a gratuitous attempt to capture the Greeting Card market on RedBubble…

  • Santa coming out of the computer. An interesting little idea I had. After all, he’s gotta get into houses a new way in this day and age of hi-tech security and electric heating (not many fireplaces out there the guy can fit through anymore).

  • Taken 13th December at sunrise at The gates of one of our local Churches, there was a real thick frost on the ground, beautiful crisp morning. / Tankersley, South Yorkshire

  • Taken Xmas morning over the Jackson oilfield in South West Queensland. Merry xmas to you all. / . / /

  • Ah, Christmas morning.

  • Ah, Christmas morning.

  • Some morning dew on whatever this is. Some sort of wheat or something.

  • Christmas time

  • A female cardinal perches on a branch after a winter snowstorm. / It’s early morning on Valentine’s Day 2006. / Photo was taken in the Pine Barrens of Southern New Jersey / Best Viewed Large Please visit my Birds Gallery / Or visit my website Cometman.com

  • Just thought I would get a shot up for the Holiday Season. Taken with a Nikon D40.

  • 35cm x 40cm / Oil on box canvas. / 2008 This year I decided to paint something that I could have printed as Christmas cards for my friends and family- this was the result! It is my first attempt at a landscape piece in oils, I’m not completely happy with it but I think it will make a pretty card.

  • Bonnie Claus is coming to town!! ;D *All proceeds of sales are donated to the Hope Animal Shelter These Christmas cards are also available:

  • A Carolina Chickadee dreams about a surreal winter’s morning. Best Viewed Large Please visit my Birds Gallery / Or visit my website Cometman.com

  • The same shot as last night minus the xmas lights and my neighbor shovelling lol

  • Finally….....finally…......the gifts are wrapped, the children are home and asleep and it is quiet. I have a few moments to myself now, to sip a glass of wine, reflect on Christmases past and future – those I love not with me; time to shed a tear of I don’t know what—relief, joy, sadness, all of it is on me now but soon I will sleep too. Thanks so much for stopping by—my other work can be seen by theme here….......

  • The sun rises above the fog of early morning on Hilton Head Island, SC on Christmas morning, 2008

  • My gift from God was this Smoky Mountain sunrise on Christmas morning. There was no card, but I knew it was from Him.

  • Same animals as in my “So Happy Together” piece. :) / This won an Editor’s Choice Award from National Assoc for Professional Photoshop Users.

  • Photographed in August 2004 near the town of Bracknel in Berkshire. I used to get up very early and cruise along the country lanes in my Land Rover looking for photographic opportunities. This shot presented itself as I glimpsed it through a gap in the hedge. Canon 10D / 1/8th sec@f8 / 15-30mm Sigma lens @15mm / ISO 200

  • Photographed at Martindale in the dales behind Ullswater in the English Lake District. Surely one of the least used phone boxes in Britain nestles against a cottage, its red complementing beautifully the lush green of the pastures. I was thunderstruck by the beauty of this place and the way the light constantly changed as the shadows of clouds swept across the sides of the fells. I don’t think I’ve ever been as captivated with a place as I was with the Lake district. Its a “me” place! Canon 10D / 1/45th sec at f13 / 15-30mm lens at 22mm (35mm equivalent) / ISO100 Post production: almost nothing. A tiny amount of highlight recovery, slight tweak to vibrance (NOT saturation) of colour. Yes, the grass is that green!

  • It’s Bridport, Dorset, but could be anywhere really.
