I am such a sucker for old Barns, especially red ones….sad thing is that we don’t see many here in Colorado….captured on a windy and snowy day along the Peak to Peak Scenic Highway
A wintry ice storm came in a fury and laden the trees with inches of ice around the tree limbs. Trees were doubled over from the weight and many trees were uprooted. The sun was trying to break thru the clouds and the sunlight made the ice glisten and sparkle. It was so peaceful and beautiful. / Taken in East Stroudsburg, PA / Canon 30D, CS3 / / Welcome! And so thy path shall be a track of light, like angels’ footsteps passing through the night.” / Words on a Church Wall in Upwaltham, England (I got this quote from talented RB artist Marny Barnes.)
Remember the Meaning – Christmas Card & Fine Art Print / Christmas Prints / Greeting Card Gallery This image is actually a design I created and handpainted with acrylics on masonite a few years ago. I did a few prints up for family Christmas gifts and included matching greeting cards. I never did sell the original (couldn’t part with it) and hang it on my wall every Christmas. Santa’s eyes look like a young childs as the inspiration came from my son. The white doves have a spiritual meaning & symbolize how I view Christmas and how I think it should be…to Remember the True Meaning and what this special holiday is all about. My primary interest has now turned to photography but once my children are a little older I hope to get back into designing & creating again. / / ADD RENEE TO YOUR WATCHLIST

This is my little angel statue which survived massive trees falling all around it during Hurricane Gustav. After the storm, when the tree surgeons came to remove the debris that was everywhere, I forgot to tell them that a little angel was under three of the many splintered trees in my yard and that the angel should be moved to safety before they downed the broken oaks. As the giants came crashing to the ground, I remembered and cringed. Now, she’s crushed, I knew. But I was wrong. After the piles of wood were moved away, there was the statue, still intact! It had made it through two calamities! Today, it is a symbol to me of survival, a symbol that miracles do happen. May miracles abound this Christmas and in the New Year. Blessings to all!
something a little fishy about this…. but hey go seize the day anyway…...:)

I have posted the lyrics to this song before, however, I thought of the same song while creating this artwork of Mary holding Jesus as a baby. Photograph of a statue of Mary and Jesus as a baby; enchanced with several software programs. For a beautiful song, listen here Mary did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water? / Mary did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters? / Did you know that your baby boy has come to make you new? / This child that you’ve delivered, will soon deliver you. Mary did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? / Mary did you know that your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? / Did you know that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? / And when you kiss your little baby, you have kissed the face of God.
This little angel comes your way / to sprinkle stars for Christmas day. /
My Harlequins are acting strange because they are “dying”, becoming extinct…we don’t want them anymore, we don’t need them anymore…:( / People forgot to laugh, people forgot to smile…the society does not make any effort to bring back the “rainbow colored” good disposition. / The Harlequins have so much to give to us, all we need to do is take it…all they want to see that we are happy. / Why to live if we can not give…..? Original: / Acrylic on Canvas Panel, 12/24in Available.
Joseph’s Song by Michael Card Chorus 1 / How could it be this baby in my arms / Sleeping now, so peacefully / The Son of God, the angel said / How could it be / Lord I know He’s not my own / Not of my flesh, not of my bone / Still Father let this baby be / The son of my love / Chorus 2 / Father show me where I fit into this plan of yours / How can a man be father to the Son of God / Lord for all my life I’ve been a simple carpenter / How can I raise a king, How can I raise a king / He looks so small, His face and hands so fair / And when He cries the sun just seems to disappear / But when He laughs it shines again / How could it be / Chorus 2 / Chorus 1
