Something besides portraiture for a change! This piece won the College Foundation Purchase Award in the student art show I entered last April. It was my first ever entry into an art show, and I was shocked and elated that I actually won something. A different perspective on the world. Also a nice seasonal picture. It’s a picture of glass globes that have been hanging in the front window at home and I took the picture through them into the winter wonderland outside. It’s not a recent picture, it was taken two, maybe three winters ago. Thought I’d put it up and let it get some exposure! I’m really happy with how it turned out! I hope you enjoy this piece. Here’s my interpretation, complete with a skull, ghostly glowing candles, a skullberry garland and, of course, a stripy stocking. :-) Made specially for the Black Xmas Group’s first challenge.
