  • My Church
    by amarica

    US$3.42–US$91.20

A church is not made up of bricks and stones. It is made up of all the people who go there. The people are the lifeblood and purpose of the gathering place we call “My Church”. I was a member of this wonderful church in Orange, California called Orange Villa Bible Church. But we moved away from there and now we are seeking a new one. The new church we attend will have to go a long way to live up to the standards of this little church in Orange, California. The people and the pastor and his family made this the greatest church we have ever attended. They teach the word of God and are not afraid to stand up for the truth. The pastor always gave messages that touched the heart and soul when he shared his inspiration and teachings from the pulpit or in any personal capacity. We had wonderful family gatherings where everyone brought a dish, we played games, baseball, horse shoes, and much more. The whole atmosphere of the church is love and caring for one another and the love of Jesus Christ. I did this art as a composite to represent the whole church as I see it. I combined a picture of the church, the pastor and many of the members. I used overlays and special editing with Photoshop CS3 and Micrografx to create the finished work. • River's Snow Portrait
    by TerriRiver

    US$4.99–US$133.00

My dog River posing for a portrait in the snow. She has ALWAYS liked her picture being taken since she barely opened her eyes at two weeks of age. Her litter mates ran around when the camera aimed at them but she stood in attention every time a photo opportunity showed up! :) I’m sure she’d be glad that I donate the proceed of the sale of her photos to Nature Canada as she loves woods and her deer friends as much as I do! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada.

  • Quo Vadis ...
    by VanSnuG

    US$23.94

. / .. / ... Peter was trying to avoid capture by the people persecuting Christians when Jesus appeared to him. Peter uttered this question… / “Quo vadis, Domine?” / “Where are you going, Lord?” / Then came the reply… “I am going to Rome to be crucified again.” At that moment, Peter knew the time had come for him to give up his life for the sake of Jesus. He surrendered himself to the authorities in Rome who had him put to death on the cross. This once cowardly fisherman boldly requested to be crucified upside down… “For I am not worthy to be crucified in the same manner as my Lord.” ... / .. / . Years and Decades and Centuries PASSED, The Persecuteds BECAME the Persecutors. / “QUO VADIS …?”

  • Portal to Enlightenment
    by Donna Proctor

    US$3.71–US$98.80

The main portal over the large iron doors is magnificent with carvings of Christ and the Apostles. Above the carvings is an ancient fresco – if you look closely to the right, you’ll see at least one fresco of an angelic cherub… look even closer and you will see others around the same frame, however they’re more faded. S. Tomasso Church, Abruzzo, Italia

  • “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.” Rev 19:11 These are the days of grace. The King is giving His creation time to come to their senses, and even now has His nailed-scarred hand extended out to humanity, to all who will come to Him. He offers peace, salvation, and forgiveness. Yet, as any earthly king knows well, there will be those who contest His right to rule over them, and these objectors will have to be absolutely dealt with in order to establish His absolute monarchy. Why not acknowledge His might now? I certainly have, for I don’t want to be one of the countless rebels who are forced to bend the knee and confess Jesus Christ as Lord. I want to be “in good” with the Great King who is soon returning to reign and rule. Is this the Jesus we think about often? I would say, “No”. Yet, consider these words penned by King David, a man who knew his King quite well. “Now therefore, be wise, O kings; / be instructed, you judges of the earth. / Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. / Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, / And you perish in the way, / When His wrath is kindled but a little. / Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” From the Book of Psalms / Psalm 2: 10-12 / †New King James Version For an even longer artist’s description of this piece, and if you have the patience to read my rambling thoughts, please see my other gallery

  • Executioners
    by Bonnie Taylor Barry

    US$4.28–US$114.00

Have you ever wondered about those who nailed Jesus to the cross? My guess is they were ordinary men just doing the job they were hired to do, but something else tells me they were never the same after. The Sacred Blood spilled onto their hands and penetrated their souls, washing them clean from all stain of sin. The Sacred Gaze penetrated their hearts, not with condemnation but with love. And the Sacred Lips whispered, “Forgive them, Father; they don’t know what they’re doing.” I took this photo at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Houston, Texas, and when I took a good look at it, I realized Jesus seemed to be anything but the center of attention. Maybe he wanted me to consider his executioners and maybe he wanted to remind me, “It was all for them; it was all for you. They drove the nails, but I laid down my life willingly so that they, so that you could live.”

  • Who is this? :)
    by TerriRiver

    US$4.99–US$133.00

Back in the deep summer, when all were in blossom and the leaves were rich in color and taste, the doe had plenty of time to experience the “other things” in life than just search for food. One day she decided to figure out what creature it was that I carried around with me and pushed at the top of the “head” from time to time to make a sound. She came so close to the lens that I had to quickly change to a wide-angle one in order to take this photo. Right after that instant, she took another step further to “pat” my “pet” with her tongue! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park
