Taken from my blog: I was going through some paintings in my studio and stumbled upon this one that I had done some time ago. I had initially put it aside calling it a “WIP” and had fully intended to go back and do more work on it but never did. I’d shown it as a WIP to some arteeeest friends who had liked it very much “as is” and then just rolled it up and forgot about it. It’s huge…not exactly sure off hand how large but it’s on unstretched canvas….I’d say about 4ft X 5ft. What this piece represents is (and I remember painting it during one of those dry spiritual periods when I was trying desperately to pray but just couldn’t find the words) our prayers, which are sometimes nothing more than moans and groans….but are interpreted for us by the Holy Spirit giving us a direct and uninterrupted line to our Father. This happens often during our times of spiritual emptiness when we are reaching out to God and the words just don’t come. For those of you who are Christians, you will know this scripture from the Bible: Romans 8:26 (New International Version) “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.” Anyway, when I pulled the painting out this morning, I decided that just as Jesus said on the cross, “it is finished”.....and would like to share it with you all. Never stop talking to God, He always hears….even the moans and groans! Be Blessed. /

EDIT 10/08: Fixed the kerning and position. More tee-shirt colours available. Bigger type. You know, one day I was thinking… Pastors and anyone in ministry definitely have a divine job. I mean, that’s what Jesus was/is when He came down 2K years ago… He was/is the Good Shephard. But what about me? what about a little ol’ designer. Then, like a revelation from heaven, I thought “but wait, God IS a designer. He is THEE Designer.” Think about it, Genesis chp1, what did He do, He created. He used His creativity to design all that we know now to be true. He used colors, textures, sizes, scents, flavors to design everything. All we did was name stuff afterwards (ask Adam). In conclusion, the Graphic Design occupation is the closest thing to divinity as are the Cherubins in Heaven. So designers, don’t fret, we get our creativity from the Big Boss. — / Angel A. / / / Christmas Rainbows Nativity is a mixed media production on brown paper / I used white acrylic gesso under, with a mix of chalk pastel, black marker and charcoal to create this little piece especially for Christmas 2008 You may notice that each character has a Heart… / Jesus’ heart is white – symbolic of his purity / Mary has a pink heart – symbolic of a mother’s gentleness and softness / Joseph’s heart is red – symbolic of father’s strength and reliability The idea of sending Rainbow Wishes for Christmas 2008 seemed appropriate in light of our global situation, the Rainbow stands for Hope or Promises made that they will be fulfilled…. I think we are all hoping for the fulfillment of the promises made to us by our governments, our leaders, our friends and family for PEACE and GOODWILL towards all men, regardless of race or creed….and not least of all God himself who spoke about rainbows being a sign of promise and hope, and also Jesus who’s birth it is we celebrate, mainly because of the hope his birth put in our hearts for true freedom from our chains (but if you are not a believer, the artwork still speaks of the promise of hope…..if not a believer in hope…then this one isn’t for you …but perhaps it will speak to someone’s heart and help spread a little hope for the future around )

Landscape of the Lord St. Malo outside of Estes Park, Colorado. One of thee most photographed Churches in all of North America, I was VERY excited and VERY anxious to get this shot when I headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park. I was hoping that the weather would clear because behind this, covered in the clouds, is Mt. Meeker and it is just a stunning view with the mountains! I have to admit though, I am really happy how this came out. And if anything, it is quite unique compared to how it is usually shot. I suppose that is a good thing when it comes to photographing something that is such an icon. Generally, people walk down by the pond and shoot from there, I stayed up top on the side of the road, thus giving a different perspective than most. Also, the weather. It was dramatic as all heck! You could smell the rain as it came in, dark, but with so much drama in the sky. I was pretty lucky to get a shot like this. Ya, I am happy with it! I started with a landscape, screened and merged it with a screen layer of clouds. Then I screened and added the eagle. All images were merged and hue adjusted. Next I screened and merged a second layer of clouds for the finished effects. I adjusted the gama light with Micrografx for the finish image. / Digitally enhanced. Grace looks at me with eyes of love and hope, as we explain to her that we will get medicines that will make her better. Grace is very ill and has intestinal worms. Here in developed countries If a child is sick with worms, a doctor will provide medicines to cure that child. they will get the best treatment possible. But in Tunga/Zuga, there is no Doctor and the nearest hospital is a gruelling 40plus miles away. even then if the family has no money, the child will be refused treatment, except on rare occasions. Many Children here die from worm infection mainly caused by drinking polluted water. When the well dries up there is no choice. Thanks to your Prayers and financial donations. You have made it possible to help Grace. Please continue to pray for her, and help others in the villages just like Grace. I know some of the images I have shared with you all at Redbubble can be disturbing and I did not want to overload to many images. But this is one child I will never forget. I had just finished preaching in a remote village and the Prayer line had closed and the meeting was closed. But Noel’s Older brother came from the very back and carried Noel to me. he was dying from Intestinial worms and had a terrible open wound on his left leg. We prayed, adn as I was Praying Noel took his last breath and went home to be with Jesus. The thing that broke my heart is that Noel’s life could have been saved, if we had the money for medicine. many Like Noel can be saved. PLEASE Help US. We need to raise $1800 to buy medicines that can treat these sick children. I am returning to te villages on 9th October. We have the money for four water pumps adn Filters. this will stop the Intestinial worms from entering their bodies. but the benifits wont help those with intestinial worms now. So we need to treat them before they die. Beloved, i know you will pray for me and the children. Please do what you can. Thats all the Lord expects from any of us.
