St. Francis of Assisi in Santa Fe Sitting in the center of the town square in Santa Fe, New Mexico stands the St. Francis of Assisi Church. Built between the years of 1869-1886, it sits on an earlier site of a church built in 1626. This was a REALLY hard shotto pull off as the town center square is filled with people so I had to act quickly. I fired off 3 brackets handheld for the HDR and metered at the bricks on teh church…hoping this was going to work….I think it did. This Little girl and her mother came to me while i was ministering in Kujama, Nigeria. Her mother was in the latter stages of AIDS. I prayed for her and she was healed. At this Point Her daughter looked upwards, as her mother jumped from the chair and was filled with the Holy Ghost, and healed. 100% of all proceeds from sale of all my art goes toward our Charity Projects in Deep Rural Africa. Their Children are cared for by the elder woman, who cannot work. This was taken as soon as the carers saw the mums coming up the village path. they are sure hungry babies. Often Breast milk dries up within a few weeks of giving Birth. There is very little food here, and the scarce food they do grow is extremely poor in Nutrition and Vitamins / .I am inspired by the word of God that teaches us to not just pray for the poor, but to give of our substance to help them. I will never forget taking this photograph, as I was standing waiting for the ferry to come. Anyone who has been to rural Africa will know that things runs on African time. That’s why I call them Last minute.com. After three hours, these two guys came to me and said the ferry Had broke down on the other side, and that they would take me accross. So I got in, with all my camera equipment and a very wet Interpreter, who fell into the water. / One the way accross I suddenly realised that the large boat coming straight towards us was the Ferry. It was so funny. The fishermen refused to take any payment, as they said it would bring good fortune to the, as they had a white man in their boat. they both recieved Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Rural Nigeria. / This was late evening, and i asked them to bring a child to me that had rickets, adn the brought 14 that were disabled by this terrible disease. some are not in the photo. I began to pray and the Lord touched me so deeply that I wept for them as I prayed. here are children who have bowed legs and feet adn they to as I was praying were praising God. the village canno grow enough food. this is why we are raising funds to buy a tracor and machinary, so we can help 25 villages grow good quality food. then rickets will be a thing of the past here in rural villages. I was getting ready to travel to ungwa/fada Village to see how they were coping with the new water pump and Grinder we bought them on our previous visit. As I was loading the vehicle, one of my helpers noticed a man carring a woman on his back. We found out later he had walked 6 miles carrying his sick wife. She was unable to move or communicate with us. We carried her into the small hall. Her body was all swollen and she was in great pain. I spoke to her husband through an intrepritor and he told us she was suddenly stricken with sickness a week ago. He was so distraught. I then spoke to Sarah and assured her that God was a God of Great love and compassion, and that he would heal her. I just knew that all were about to see a miracle take place. / Jesus says: / Mar 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. With the help of an Intrepretor We began to Pray. I laid hands on Sarah and began to praise and Worship God. he has anointed me with power over all power of the enimy. It was about 10 minutes later, that Sarah opened her eyes and began to Speak. / It was not the native Housa Language, but the heavenly Language she was speaking, Gift of Tongues. Her legs began to move anddn her arms. 25 minutes later, and Sarah ws sitting up on a chair. This Photo was taken just 30 minutes after the Lord filled her with the Holy Spirit and completely healed her. PRAISE GOD! I spoke to Sarak on 2oth June 2008 Via telephone, and she is well and sharing her Miracle with many. Sarah was healed on 11th December 2007. / This was witnessed by 30 villagers who had gathered outside the small hall. This once cowardly fisherman boldly requested to be crucified upside down… “For I am not worthy to be crucified in the same manner as my Lord.” ... / .. / . Here you see Leah praying to God before she starts her daily task of caring for her younger brother and sister, John and Sarah. / Her father died shortly after our last visit in December 2007. Mother is sick. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. In the midst of so much suffering, Jesus is always there to comfort, heal and strengthen. Like me, Leah draws strength and peace from her heavenly Father as She talks to him in Jesus name. There is no greater Love, or deeper heart of compassion than Gods heart toward all people, regardless of their Race, Color or background. To me He is my reason for living and my inspiration to help those in need. This is why I and the small team of unpaid volunteers work around the clock to help children like Leah and her family. Taken in Tunga/Zuga, a remote village in Nigeria. Mary is aged 12 years old and her mission is to care for her younger brother. Each day Mum and Dad work in the small field from sunrise to sunset. there is no school here and the nearest one is 4 miles away. Children are so precious and I cannot help but think of the great benefits our children have here in England and other developed countries. [portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. We need help with school fees, uniform adn text books. Can you help? will you Help? http://www.philadelphia33.org/ Every day Anna travels from village to village begging for food. We spend quite some time talking to her and a few local villagers in the area. The chiefs wife told us that Anna was found two years ago by other children in the fields near the village. For many days they made contact with other villages to see where her parents were, but with no success. Anna gets very little help and a few in the village do at times feed her, most of her time is spend begging in different villages. The chiefs wife also said they decided to name her Anna. Anna is dumb and cannot speak. She cannot communicate except by gestures. We have now moved Anna to a family in a village where we work. the family recently lost their eldest child, and now they care for Anna. We make a small contribution each month for her upkeep. 100% of all money raised from sales and donations via our charity website, goes toward helping these precious people. 100% folks. I was walking around the village with camera in hand and came across my Little friends praying. These children live in extreme poverty and experience many challenges each day. Taken during a visit to Kaban Village in remote Nigeria. Peace looks after lenti her younger sister,a s mum and dad work in the fields. Every day peace feeds and cares for Lenti. Lenti is extremely malnourished and is showing early signs of Rickets,a Disease that causes the upper and lower limbs to bow and lead to disability and pain. here in kaban village the locals try their best to grow enough food to eat and sell. Its a difficult task, when there is little tools and fertilizers. 100% of all proceeds from sales or donations via our Charity website goes towards helping these people. Rocamadour was a dependency of the abbey of Tulle to the north in the Bas Limousin. The buildings of Rocamadour (from ròca, cliff, and sant Amador) rise in stages up the side of a cliff on the right bank of the Alzou, which here runs between rocky walls 400 ft. in height. Flights of steps ascend from the lower town to the churches, a group of massive buildings half-way up the cliff. The chief of them is the pilgrimage church of Notre Dame (rebuilt in its present configuration from 1479), containing the cult image at the center of the site’s draw, a wooden Black Madonna reputed to have been carved by Saint Amator (Amadour) himself. The small Benedictine community continued to reserve the use of the small twelfth-century church of Saint-Michel, above and to the side. Below, the pilgrimage church opens on to a terrace where pilgrims could assemble, called the Plateau of St Michel, where there is a broken sword said to be a fragment of Durandal, once wielded by the hero Roland. The interior walls of the church of St Sauveur are covered, with paintings and inscriptions recalling the pilgrimages of celebrated persons. The subterranean church of St Amadour (1166) extends beneath St Sauveur and contains relics of the saint. On the summit of the cliff stands the château built in the Middle Ages to defend the sanctuaries.Famous pilgrims include:- Roland Eleanor of Aquitaine Henry II of England Blanche of Castile Louis IX of France Charles IV of France Louis XI of France It was also an important stage on the Pilgrimage to the alledged relic of St James at Santiago de Compostella in NE Spain. / A 3 frame HDR image -2,0,+2 EV, Canon 400D, Canon EF-S 17-85 IS USM lens at ISO 100.
