People here in Texas have trouble with all those “shalls” and “shall nots” in the ten Commandments. Folks here just aren’t used to talking in those terms. This was inspired by watching and interacting with three of my grandchildren this past weekend. It was interesting to watch the youngest always looking for attention, the middle child, always trying to see what he could get away with, and the oldest boy appreciative polite and helpful. This seemed somehow symbolic to me of many Christains and their level of maturity in the faith.
