EDIT 10/08: Fixed the kerning and position. More tee-shirt colours available. Bigger type. You know, one day I was thinking… Pastors and anyone in ministry definitely have a divine job. I mean, that’s what Jesus was/is when He came down 2K years ago… He was/is the Good Shephard. But what about me? what about a little ol’ designer. Then, like a revelation from heaven, I thought “but wait, God IS a designer. He is THEE Designer.” Think about it, Genesis chp1, what did He do, He created. He used His creativity to design all that we know now to be true. He used colors, textures, sizes, scents, flavors to design everything. All we did was name stuff afterwards (ask Adam). In conclusion, the Graphic Design occupation is the closest thing to divinity as are the Cherubins in Heaven. So designers, don’t fret, we get our creativity from the Big Boss. — / Angel A. / / / The idea of sending Rainbow Wishes for Christmas 2008 seemed appropriate in light of our global situation, the Rainbow stands for Hope or Promises made that they will be fulfilled…. You may notice that each character has a Heart… / Jesus’ heart is white – symbolic of his purity / Mary has a pink heart – symbolic of a mother’s gentleness and softness / Joseph’s heart is red – symbolic of father’s strength and reliability I think we are all hoping for the fulfillment of the promises made to us by our governments, our leaders, our friends and family for PEACE and GOODWILL towards all men, regardless of race or creed….and not least of all God himself who spoke about rainbows being a sign of promise and hope, and also Jesus who’s birth it is we celebrate, mainly because of the hope his birth put in our hearts for true freedom from our chains (but if you are not a believer, the artwork still speaks of the promise of hope…..if not a believer in hope…then this one isn’t for you …but perhaps it will speak to someone’s heart and help spread a little hope for the future around )

First, let me just say: this is not meant to be offensive, or dividing. Anyway, inspiration for this came from two things that have being irking me lately. / Firstly, the ultra-conservative, ultra right-wing “Christians” who say things like ‘hah hah you’re going to burn in hell’ and ‘we should kill them all’ and ‘muslims/jews/atheists/hindus/whatever worship Satan.’ That kind of thing just seems to fly in the face of everything Christ tells us. / Peter 3:15 “But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect’ / Note the lack of violence? The second thing is radical/militant atheism. Atheism I don’t actually have a problem with…unless it starts being (for want of a better word) evangelical and start trying to force atheism on people (personally I don’t like religious folks forcing their religion on other people. By all means spread the Word but don’t shove it down people’s throats.). I’m talking about the Rchard Dawkins’ of the world, the people who’ll say just because one person who calls themself a Christian/Muslim/Hindu/Jew/whatever is a murderous fanatical lunatic they all must be. Just because I’m a Christian doesn’t mean I agree with what every Christian says. We are not all the same. Anyway, thanks for reading/listening to my little rant if you’v had the patience…
