  • One of the most historically significant statues along the Charles Bridge in Prague. The original wooden Crucifix was installed in 1361.

  • A shooting star burns bright, / But what happens when it falls?

  • Taken from Calton Hill looking across to the Bridges and below is Market Street. The very large building is the old Scotsman newspaper buildings but has now been changed into a 5 star hotel. When I first viewed the finished work I was not so sure about it, but then it started to grow on me and gave me the impression of and old vintage style postcard. Since 2006 this image has become a pretty good seller on the stretch canvas.

  • took this a couple of winters ago, when we had some snow! this was taken along the road in the great smoky mountains, thought i would add..that this shot..is in color..its not a black and white :)

  • mama bear was crossing road, two bicyclers had passed earlier, so i thought a pretty cool shot of her crossing w/ them in background

  • A fractal using Apophysis. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. / Now the earth was formless and empty, / darkness was over the the surface of the deep, / and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Genesis 1:1,2

  • another shot , shot on the last day of the year of 2007 / there wasnt that much snow in the cove, just enough to dust things and temps were cold enough to keep it there for alittle while, something about this field with the grass just tipped with snow and frost, the fog all around just awed me

  • The photography version, as promised. / / / I also have a red bubble, my anti-drug shirt / / !http://images-

  • another shot of the fire my volunteer fire dept was putting out wednesday night..this is a old landmark that used to be a restaurant, then a river tubing company, the river tube company has been closed for two years now. this was the 4th time this building has been caught on fire, this time..its a goner, happy to say no firefighters were harmed / you could feel the heat off this thing from 25-30 foot away! but then after all died down, we all like to have frozen our “hoses” off!! temps got down below 30 degrees (F), and we were all soaked! / it was a real challenge, shooting this , because the ony light was from the fire, and the trucks, and i hand held camera for all of the shots / im happy to say out of 112 shot, i only deleted close to 10, if that here is the link to the local tv station that has put my shots on there http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=53827

  • this is a crocus that is growing in my yard right now, we have had some pretty warm temps for february around here and some of my crocus’ are blooming, this little flower only stands about 4 to 6 inches tall, i shot this macro literally laying on the ground to give an idea of just how tall it really is, i shot this using a nikon diopter lens attached to a canon 75-300mm lens, also..this is dedicated to Gisele since she is stuck with nothing but snow and needs a flower fix :) so Gisele this is for you

  • one of the many sites you will see coming thru the great smoky mountains. trout fishing. couldnt have asked for better timing, having a fisherman set in the right gear, the water, and lighting. / i shot this in black and white, it has not been converted , and yes i do have color, that will be uploaded later, but i wanted something different ;), and this was shot with my new 17-85mm lens :) i love it already :):)

  • ©Angi Baker / Inspired By: 3 Doors Down / MUSIC / A hundred days have made me older / Since the last time that I saw your pretty face / A thousand lies have made me colder / And I don’t think I can look at this the same / But all the miles that separate / Disappear now when I’m dreaming of your face I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight it’s only you and me The miles just keep rollin’ / As the people leave their way to say hello / I’ve heard this life is overrated / But I hope that it gets better as we go I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight babe it’s only you and me Everything I know, and anywhere I go / It gets hard but it wont take away my love / And when the last one falls / When it’s all said and done / It gets hard but it wont take away my love I’m here without you baby / But you’re still on my lonely mind / I think about you baby / And I dream about you all the time / I’m here without you baby / But you’re still with me in my dreams / And tonight babe it’s only you and me Inspired by My Friends 3 Doors Down / Brad, Todd, Matt, Chris & Greg

  • in the little town i live in, townsend tn., we have this old timers bluegrass festival. / you will see people of all ages young and old, enjoying bluegrass and gospel music. you can see what the ” old days” were like with old tractors, old single engines running homemade ice cream machines, balers, all sorts of mechanical apperatis. / one of the things i love about the festival is how each little band forms their own circle, and just plays to whomever wants to stand around and listen. / there are fiddles, violins, cellos, basses, banjos, all sorts of musical instruments. / this one guy had what looks to be a guitar turned right side up, and picking it. / so something just said..shoot it..and i did :)

  • I was experimenting with slow shutterspeed effects, and saw a friend do some work using fire. so it became something i wanted to try and just play around with and see what i could do with it. / so one cold night, im bored, i decided to try this time lapse stuff out / at the time i was still using my kodak easyshare 6490 camera back in feb of 2007. / so i set it up on my tripod in the darkest part of my house, the hallway / it took a few times of trial and error, to be lined just right with the framing, and to get the flames just right. i was going for a heart shape for valentines / i used two bic lighters to achieve this effect / just as i set the timer on the camera, as it was starting to release the shutter is when i started forming the heart shape with the flame / this was a very fun challenge, something great to try on those cold or rainy days and you feel like there isnt anything to do. this was shot in SS priority, SS was set at 5.6, time lapse was set at 6 sec, aperture was F 2.8, and focal length was at 6mm, and exposure comp at -2, no programed effects were done to this shot, this is as is right out of camera / unfortunately due to the 4mp of the camera all that is available is the card

  • Shooting along Tremont, we Finally have some water in our rivers, due to a very nice rain season for the year, definitely beats last year of 2007’s drought. / I was playing around with shutterspeed on this showing a new photographer friend of mine from Ohio what the different settings produce. I am trying to get Lou here on the bubble, I didnt warn him about the addiction tho :) / Great thing about digital, we can experiment all we want, and just delete if we dont like. So I am always up for experimenting, especially when my subject isnt taking off in the woods. I shot this in shutterspeed priority / SS set at 1/4th of a second / F-stop at F29 / ISO at 100 / Focal length at 187mm / Exposure Comp at -0.3

  • Ive been waiting and waiting to get this particular shot. I wanted the fog so thick the light’s beams would be the only thing coming down over the bike trail located here in Townsend. Many nights I have gone to check out the fog. We finally had some good fog night before last, so off I go, only to realize the light wont exactly shine as I have it pictured in my mind due to the way the light shade is built. So I am settling for this shot. Who knows maybe with thicker fog I can eventually get that shot I have been waiting for. Shot this in Manual Mode set on the Bulb setting. / Fstop set at F 6.3 / Focal Length at 80mm / Exposure time was at 1 sec / ISO was set at 200 / Exposure comp set at 0

  • I went to the Knoxville Zoo for the first time in November of 2008. It was the first time I had visited this zoo since I had moved to this area in 2000. / As I was shooting this bear, I could feel it’s pain. I felt it was so ironic that the native animal of this area was living in the enviroment it has to live in. So as I was shooting this shot, that is when the title came to my mind. It literally drove me crazy listening to people making sounds at it, and hitting the glass, I think I did well by not just going off on them, which is what I really wanted to do. / As much as I hate to say it, I wasnt impressed with the zoo’s set up for all the animals I viewed while I was there. Just hard to make a home with concrete walls, fake trees, and a blank surrounding. / Without a doubt, I have adapted quickly to shooting these animals in the wild, in their natural habitat. / I shot this thru the glass, after getting my shot ready for auto focus, I switched to manual so my lens wouldnt focus in on the glass as I hit the shutterbutton. / Shooting at an angle so the glare from behind me wouldnt reflect on the glass. I shot this in Shutterspeed (SS) mode / SS set at 1/160 / Fstop at F 5.6 / ISO at 400 / Focal length at 300mm / Exposure compensation at 0
