  • This photo was taken at the funeral of the first police officer killed while on duty in my city, Windsor, Ontario, in over 125 years. It was also the largest funeral in at least fifty years, if not longer. The officer’s children’s classes came, and as high school students we were paired up with them to watch them for the day. This was my student… I think he was ten at the time…

  • We’ve all had that moment where we see a lock, and wish to know just what it’s protecting, what’s behind it, and why it is there. I have submitted this photo to the 1620 challenge “one” because, obviously, I feel this particular image and symbol represents me very well. Like many people, there is only so much you’ll be able to glean from who I am on the outside, and while the outside may be quite mysterious or with-holding of what’s inside, there is a way to open me up – a key to who I am. It won’t be easy or short, but overtime the gears will turn and all that’s protected inside will be open for you to look upon.

  • More light painting from last night… was a request. I will also happily take any requests from anyone here; I’m trying to improve my skills at this. This photo is unedited, aside from a crop.

  • More light painting… this one was more difficult than the others to make, but I’m happy enough with it at the moment… may upload a better one if I make one later. Comments/critiques always welcome. I’d rather get honest feedback than positive comments, although they can be one in the same =)

  • Well, I think you all know where this concept came from, but I thought it a clever idea regardless. I don’t know if anyone else has done this yet on here, but it wouldnt surprise me if I wasn’t the first, so my apologies in advance. Now, as promised, I also have the photography, my anti-drug shirt available. /

  • The photography version, as promised. / / / I also have a red bubble, my anti-drug shirt / / !http://images-

  • This photo was initially a concept piece created for th seventh Challenge Cafe competition, the theme being naked without using the human body. So imagine my surprise when, six months later, it makes it on the featured page!

  • My neighbour’s son swimming in our pool last year… my parents had me take pictures of him just becasue “we know what its like always worring about the little ones and not being able to take photos.” I thought it was a fair reason, and it never hurts to get some experience or variety. That photo actually lead to a feature in our local downtown magazine, so it was definitely worth it in the end =)

  • Another shot while in Chicago of a friend of mine. Her sunglasses were perfect for this shot, the way the buildings reflected off of her shades, so I asked her to hold herself for just a secon so I could snap this one.

  • The first snow of last winter here just turned out to be ice, with no snow. This is one of th shots i grabbed that day.

  • Another self-portrait…. I seem to revert to these when I can’t sleep and lack any proper subject or object to photograph…. never hurts to get your face out there though =P

  • Fifth image from tonight.

  • This is actually an image I shot of smoke as it rose from a stick of incense, coloured, then inverted in the post processing. Looks like someone dropped some drops of ink into water, personally, although on a more abstract sense, I see a somewhat worried old man or woman with a long, crooked nose, sitting with her hands together in anxiety. If couse, these images are always left up to personal interpretation. I hope you find the images in this series captivating =)

  • Another smoke image… tried my hand at it again with a couple sticks instead of one… this was one shot of the outcome… Again, the colouring is simply due to post processing… the dual colours had nothing to do with the dual sticks of incense.

  • Though I mean to define no one, an added edge for all you photogrphers to wear at whatever event you might be covering.

  • Express your creativity creatively.

  • I know some of you may have seen this before… I’m not claiming to have created the idea… but I do like it, and wanted it on a shirt. I looked around on here, didn’t find one like this yet, so I thought I’d put one up. This shirt, as the title suggests, says “Coexist” using various religious and other symbols, including the male and female symbol. The meaning behind it all is to suggest that we simply all get along, and don’t let our differences get between us.

  • Smoke art + post processing.

  • For the people who don’t know the sport! For people who dont know the teams! For people who’s team is always the winning team ;) ! For people who don’t have a team! For all those Belgium’s when it comes to sporst, here is your t-shirt =) Enjoy! There are way too many shirt colours now for me to make the design in each one before hand. HOWEVER!! If you would like this in something other than white for a certain shirt colour, message me and I will be more than happy to make one for you =)

  • You too could be Banksy, though you won’t be nearly as unnoticable as the real man. PS: Real Banksy, if you see and buy this, please let me know, as that would be so wonderfully ironic =)

  • This little boy was absolutely loving exploring the Colosseum, or so it appeared for the few seconds that I actually saw him. I couldn’t help but think of when I was younger, and wanted to explore all the ancient castles and structures of the world. I’d put good money that every little boy goes through that phase, and this lucky one was actually able to live it out.

  • I couldn’t find any place to get one of these in Canada, so I thought I’d just make one for myself =) Feel free to spread the warmth!

  • Do you see the scene unfolding? The seas are unforgiving, - – - – - – - – - Smoke photography. .

  • The imagination is infinite. I loved making places to explore when I was a child, make believe places through imaginary doors…. C. S. Lewis understood this concept well.
