A photo of St-Simeon’s pier, the most beautiful place I saw when I went for my little 3 days trip.While taking this shot ,a nice couple on a moto talked to me ,I ask for a little auberge to sleep for the night and they decided to invite me to their home.That’s Quebec,I would have done the same but it was a first for me…couldn’t believe it.I sent some photos by email and they were very happy.They are living at five minutes from there in a beautiful place called La Malbaie near the St-Lawrence river.The same day in the afternoon I took «Pointe-au-Père» and in the evening the sky became lavander blue,a real dream. / / /

Exciting news….Duh duh duh duh (that was my drum roll, lol)...It was just announced from the Melbourne & Victoria Group that my painting First Tree is one of the 40 RedBubble pieces selected for a special two week art exhibit on July 27th, on display in the foyer of the Rialto Towers in Melbourne! The Rialto Towers are one of Melbourne’s most prestigious and iconic skyrise buildings. My painting will be displayed along with the other fantastic works of art chosen by RedBubble in the main entrance with exposure to over 5,000 people a day! It is quite an honor to me and it will definitely be an adventure! Today the weather was actually nice enough that we went on an outing….a few hours on the trails of Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park…Estes Park, Colorado. This is the main trail that circles the lake. It was so wonderful to be out among all that greeeeen!!!!

There is a radio station in Halifax called Kool 96.5 that runs a daily contest called “Photograph of the Day”. Last night I entered my “I Love You” picture and told them I thought it would be a great Valentines Day image. I got an e-mail today congratulating me because I won!! YAYYYY!!! They are going to put my image on their sites front page on Valentines Day. Here’s the picture I’m talking about:
