This piece is a compilation of a photo of a custom chopper taken in August/2007 at Kelowna’s Downtown Street Festival extracted and layered together with three other photos all taken in the last week of Nov.2007 from my back yard. It’s strictly an artistic vision from my imagination.Hope you like it!

Having an overwhelming interest in customised transport, I created this piece as a self-caricature (and homage to Mad Max Thunderdome) during the recent upsurge in petrol prices- when it reaches $3 per litre, this is what I’ll look like! I drew the original piece with Indian ink and a brush, and then scanned it into Photoshop where I layered paint and textures over the original linework.

This is a Sea King Helicopter belonging to 771 Squadron S&R, RNAS Culdrose, Helston, Cornwall. They had just done a display with the Lifeboats at the Dawlish Air Show, 20/08/09. I have added a texture to this as the sky did not look very good and wanted to give it more impact. I think I have done ok. / What do you think? Be honest please.
