Sales of this Design? – 4 sales so far :) / Hidden Treasure is a mixed media production on hardboard. Included in the mix are moulding paste for the eggs, gold and bronze paint, silver thread, fabric, charcoal, ink, pastel and acrylic with a gloss varnish over the eggs. / There is a poem in the background in gold cursive handwriting, which reads: Hidden Treasure Golden eggs are not always easy to find / Sometimes they lay hidden in the pockets of our seams / Sometimes we have to look beyond the obvious to see / the beauty in others~ traits of kindness, compassion, nurture and / gentleness are not always obvious at first glance and / what one may perceive as a fault or weakness / may actually be a great strength. This must be the ultimate in captive animal photography as the chook was in a small cage in Victoria Market waiting to be sold. I had to shoot with the 18-200mm lens right up to the wires in the cage and position the lens to get rid of the image of the wires. This was tricky as the bird kept moving around. Any suggestions for a better title as I am not overly fond of this but am devoid of ideas?

Today i got two more surprises!!! Firstly my new dear sweet bubble friend udonchow purchased my Hidden Treasure card from my ! and I thank you so much udonchow, i hope you will really like it very much! Secondly a dear old friend i used to play with when i was a young girl has reappeared into my life again through Facebook, her name is Priscilla (or Pris for short) and we both had fathers in the Police….we used to dance ourselves silly to Abba….lol….well, today Pris purchased Little Green Teapot long sleeved tee from my ....and i am really tickled pink!!!! Thank you Priscilla :D I hope you enjoy wearing it!!
