Sales of this Design? – 3 sales so far :) / Baby Bull Production is something I created not that long ago. It’s a mixed media piece on canvas textured paper…...i did it in response to the chilled out cows at Mullumbimby, northern New South Wales, who seem to be very laid back, i suspect they are indulging in the ‘other’ kind of grass also….... they have this real chilled look about them, and I’ve never seen cows anywhere else that have this way about them. I put it in the Casino Art Exhibition and it was the only painting that sold, every year a male school teacher goes to that show, or so the legend goes…....and purchases a piece…...it was my lucky year. Tonight I was asked if I’d ever sold a painting in a gallery…well, yes, and at exhibitions and privately. To date I believe I have sold between 30 and 40 original paintings, which I am very proud of…..in the early days 2002 I was very prolific, things have slowed down a bit with my painting now, because i am much more deliberate and take a lot of time to imbue my paintings with layers and love and depth…..it is just how i have grown as an artist, it is nice to report that there is growth along the journey…(and sales lol)!!! Somebody also has a print of these cows and loves them very much from what I understand lol

Remains of autumn’s splendor with a babbling mountain stream in the background. This has been digitally rendered to resemble a watercolor but effects aren’t that noticeable at smaller sizes. This stream is found in the Tremont Area of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park

Polar Bear mum and cubs relax on an ice floe. / / The sea ice is shrinking at an alarming rate, which has a huge impact for the bears as this is their main hunting ground. More and more bears are being found to have drowned while trying to find the ice, even though they can swim up to sixty miles or so! / / I hope the ice does not completely vanish and that they always have somewhere to hunt! / / (Spitsbergen – Scandinavian Arctic) / / >< / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /

This one of our local Churcches, taken on a damp dark day, sort of the right day for churches and grave yards. Almost desaturated it to darken the feel.

BETTER VIEWED LARGER Yes it does get cold out west, this shot was taken when the temperature was zero degrees celcius, and that was without windchill. Here the sunrise catches the landscape with recently snow cover. Morning light hits trees in the National Park that surrounds the Historic Gold Mining Village of Hill End 3 1/2 hours drive from Sydney For those visiting Sydney , free some time to travel west of Sydney, you will experience the wonders of National Parks and World Heritage areas, old gold mining towns, old towns . And vineyards and wonderous scenery that is the true Australian landscape. Hill End NSW / In October 1872 the Star of Hope Gold Mining Co. uncovered what was, at the time, the world’s largest specimen of reef gold. ‘Holtermann’s Nugget’, as it was known, weighed 286 kg and measured 150 cm by 66 cm with an average thickness of 10 cm. That week alone, over 700 kilograms of gold were carted / away from Hill End by the gold escort. In all the amount of gold extracted at Hill End was greater than any goldfield in NSW other than Canbelego / VIEW THE HILL END HDR SERIES / Hill End – HDR Series Series

Old barn with a new look. A BIG Thank-You goes to Kimberly Palmer for giving this old barn a new look. The county wants to tear this barn down. They claim it is an eye-sore… so sad. It has so much character!
