It’s hard to imagine that “grandma” the older woman , was once a beautiful little girl with curls and bows, just as hard to imagine that a cute little girl, will one day be older as well, we always tend to think of people in their present state, without realizing that everyday they are changing, so gradual you don’t even see it from one day to another…

Kids in a village in northern areas of Pakistan. The older siblings are normally responsible of carrying out a few house holds chores including feeding the live stock and taking care of the younger siblings at the same time. Despite all these responsibilites, these kids are always smiling :-)

5X7 mixed media on Card) This is my humorous-Poigant look at how fast girls grow up these days. I used yellow adhesive scrapbook paper as the background then used iconic images of girlhood on the left & ones of womanhood on the right. Some I added w/my old standby Pop-Dots for a 3D effect. Girls grow up too fast these days(in my opinion) I guess cause of all the technological stuff we have now,etc. Which can be a great thing if used with common sense w/kids. I dedicate this collage to my niece,Alexandra,who I hope stays “young”for as long as possible! /
