A cheeky, young Cambodian boy looks down through a floor. The house was on stilts and I had to lie down on the ground and shoot upwards to get this picture.

Grace looks at me with eyes of love and hope, as we explain to her that we will get medicines that will make her better. Grace is very ill and has intestinal worms. Here in developed countries If a child is sick with worms, a doctor will provide medicines to cure that child. they will get the best treatment possible. But in Tunga/Zuga, there is no Doctor and the nearest hospital is a gruelling 40plus miles away. even then if the family has no money, the child will be refused treatment, except on rare occasions. Many Children here die from worm infection mainly caused by drinking polluted water. When the well dries up there is no choice. Thanks to your Prayers and financial donations. You have made it possible to help Grace. Please continue to pray for her, and help others in the villages just like Grace. Chefchaouen is a city in northwest Morocco. It is the chief town of the province of the same name. Chefchaouen is situated in the Rif Mountains, just inland from Tangier and Tetouan. The city was founded in 1471, as a small fortress which still exists to this day, by Moorish exiles from Spain to fight the Portuguese invasions of northern Morocco. It was known as one of the main concentrations of Moriscos and Jews who sought refuge in this mountainous city after the Spanish Reconquista in medieval times. In 1920, the Spanish seized Chefchaouen to form part of Spanish Morocco. They returned the city after the independence of Morocco in 1956. The name ‘Chefchaouen’ refers to the shapes of the mountain tops that tower over the town, that look like the two horns (chaoua) of a goat. It literally means “look at the horns”. The blue-rinsed houses and buildings, are a tradition that comes from the town’s former Jewish population. Please visit my Mission Africa Charity Website. / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ These are just some of the children of Ungwa/Fada village. there are 4 more who were not available when I took this Shot. All have disabilities caused by A disease called Rickets. This is due mainly to lack of Vitamin [D] an poor diet. Vitamin D comes mainly from the sun. yet because there is little food adn what they can grow is extremely poor quality their bodies does not absorb vitamin D and other vital Vitamin. The results are Bowed and twisted limbs. Many of these children do not know what it is to be pain free. They never yet experienced a body that did not hurt, pain is normal for them. We can help them become pain free. We also can eliminate rickets and remove the cause of malnutrition completely. our Abundant Harvest Project will do just this and more. We can build a school and Pharmacy, well stocked. through your Prayers, Donations and making others aware of their plight, we can and are making a big difference. 100% of all proceeds from sales of my art, or donations made via our Mission Website,Will go direct to Sick Children in Tunga/Zuga an Ungwa/Fada villages. Sunsets at Menindee Lakes can be awesome. Giclee Reproductions are available: visit www.suehodge.com.au / For more prints by Sue Hodge visit: http://ochresands.redbubble.com The following is from the NSW Tourism website: / http://www.visitnsw.com/town/Menindee/Menindee_Lake_System/info.aspx The Menindee Lakes System begins on the Darling River about 200 kilometres upstream from the junction of the Darling and Murray rivers at Wentworth. There are four main lakes, Lake Menindee, Lake Cawndilla, Lake Pamamaroo, and Lake Wetherell created from a series of natural depressions that filled during floods. The Menindee Lakes and Darling River were a lifeline for early explorers and it was thought the Darling would provide a means to develop Australia’s interior. The flows of the river proved to be unreliable causing difficulties with navigation and water supply and the idea of using the Menindee Lakes for water conservation was born in the late 1890s. Today the lakes and dams create a welcome water haven in the arid Outback landscape as well as a bird-watchers paradise where bird watching tours are highly recommended.

Please when you have time, visit my Mission charity site: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ When We first met Susan on a mission to a rural village in April 2007, she was in the later stages of death. her body was infested with intestinal worms. medicines would not work. I prayed for her in the village, along with two other mission volunteers. We left to continue our journey. But God spoke to me, and We returned that evening and put her in our old battered vehicle adn brought her to our mission centre. We continued to pray and command death to leave her alone. 5 days later and God completely healed her. Now as you see, Susan is completely healed. She shares her testimony with us on missions into other villages and many have also received healing and hope. Praise God! Please help us to continue to reach others with the healing love of God. Due to requests, I have decided to upload a few more photographs of Grace, taken mid October 2008. As her parents and villagers watch with tears, we pray for Grace. This is how intestinal worms causes children to be sick. the worms eat from the inside out. Vomiting, passing blood and fainting are just some of the symptoms. eventually if left untreated, the child will die a painful death. I have tonight spoke to Evangelist John who went down last week with medicines bought by a precious sister here on redbubble. John is staying in the village with Grace and parents. Tonight 8.04Pm London time he told me that Grace is holding her own, and although the response to medicines is not a good as expected, there is improvement. She still vomits but at least she is eating good Quality food that John bought and carried to the village. He requests that we continue to intercede for her in prayer. God is merciful. The twins are now sick also. Malnutrition has hit their immune system hard. We are doing what we can, with the little we have. your Prayers and donations are much needed. 100, of all proceeds from sale of my art, adn donations made via our Mission Charity Site will go now directly to these children in Tunga/Zuga, and not to any other project. It is here we will be starting our Clean water and farming project in summer 2009, or sooner if we can raise the finance. but for Simon and his twin David, they will not survive to benefit from its great rewards, unless we can provide medicines and multi-vitamins now.
