my cousins little boy.

for a friends engagement, I planned to do a painting. It was a dark green based with concentric circles before I began (because that wasn’t right). It had also a little ‘baby in the womb’ but that didn’t feel right either. I knew this person liked greens and blues, so I planned to put a strong cross in the middle (as shown) with stripes. A variation on what I normally did. that was the plan-didn’t get to do before the gathering. At the gathering, we found out they are pregnant! which is wonderful…and explains why I had been drawn to use this particular artwork as a base…but didn’t seem right yet (due to colour) Instincts are good!
