Yes, they are my feet and I’m relaxing on the beach watching the kids play in the water. I gave this image some texture and it reminds me of a very lazy, Aussie summer’s day at the beach.

I know that in an artistic sense this is quite simple, however to me it has great meaning. The image is of my two boys who are also the best of friends. They have an unbreakable bond and here, they are doing something they love; just being together.

Louis sitting on our washing machine with his fav. toy… He has had this ‘tigger ‘since he was born and still sleeps with him or grabs him when he’s upset… this was taken the week before he started school (which was a really big deal for me)...

One of the first street shots I ever took back in 1964 in the East End of London. This was before Playstations, and probably the only ‘toy’ these kids shared between them was a skipping rope. Old bomb sites still held a fascination though as a form of amusement and exploration, as can be seen here. It was taken using a Yashica Mat 120 film twin lens reflex camera that took me six months to save up for. I used Tri-X B/W film and printed on a hard grade of paper to get the punchy contrast, a characteristic of all my early B/W work. Well here it is the final image i am posting for the children’s book….finally finished the manuscript…lots of work …..had to add scenes ..more images…great though cause it is a picture book :)....i though i would leave the rest of the images as a surprise :)...i would explain this image but i don’t want to give it away …hope you can forgive me :)...to be honest i am sad i won’t be albe to share more images of lilliput and his adventure….have to keep it a secret…i did did make a decision to submit to a publishing house instead of self publishing…i am crossing my fingers…i have been doing my homework so i hope i won’t be rejected to much :) thank you everyone for the encourgement you have given me here on RB for my Lilliput Series…i truly appreciate it:)

Sure, the bird was interesting, but he really should have paid more attention to what was coming up behind him. Unfortunately for Willie “The Birdman” Whiters, it would be the last mistake he would ever make. I just finished this one up last night. Overall, I’m fairly pleased with it.

[portrait taken in Natural Light] : 16/11/2008 [AS IS] I was walking from one village to the next, in Remote Nigeria. one of the team noticed this young girl following us for some time. I stopped and spoke to her through an interpretor. We learned that she was 13 years old and caring for three younger Sisters. As she told us here story, I Felt compelled to return to her village. There we met her three younger sisters in the most extreme poverty. Both Parents were dead and no other living relatives. We spoke to the village Chief and the elders who pleaded with us to help the family. We did, as God lead us to and blessed her with clothing, and the following day we sent two of our field workers to meet with her and now they have a small regular income from our mission funds. UPDATE 5-8-2009. Mary is now at School. We pay her school fees adn her three younger sisters are well and happy. We need help with Susan, aged 9. She wants to go to school also. We need help with school fees, uniform adn text books. Can you help? will you Help?
