Here are my boys and hubby checking out the clouds before a storm.
To me, this photo symbolizes the beautiful journey of a father and son through life.. Silhouettes are my favorite thing to capture, there is so much emotion without even seeing facial expressions.
Marriage or wedlock is an interpersonal relationship with governmental, social, or religious recognition. It is often created as a contract or through civil processes. Civil marriage is the legal concept of marriage as a governmental institution. / The most common form of marriage unites one man and one woman as husband and wife. Other forms of marriage also exist: for example, polygamy in which a person takes more than one spouse is common in many societies. In some jurisdictions civil marriage has been expanded to include same-sex marriage. / People marry for many reasons, but usually one or more of the following: legal, social and economic stability; the formation of a family unit; procreation and the education and nurturing of children; legitimizing sexual relations; public declaration of love; or to obtain citizenship.

Sure, the bird was interesting, but he really should have paid more attention to what was coming up behind him. Unfortunately for Willie “The Birdman” Whiters, it would be the last mistake he would ever make. I just finished this one up last night. Overall, I’m fairly pleased with it.

Entertaining children is easy when you have a remote control flying saucer.
Another illustration made for a children’s magazine to go with a short story (chance it might get published but so far I haven’t been lucky so I’m not counting on it =P ). / It’s about a princess who sees an old man in a mirror, and he turns out to be a wizard. He then takes her to the Land of 1000 Words, where everything is made out of words. A bit of an experiment again with this one. The background is made out of pieces of newspaper, on which I painted the image with ink. And then I cut out the letters and glued them to the image, and touched it all up a bit with coloured pencils. =)
My 14 year old son cradles my 3 month old son in his hands – I couldn’t resist. Taken using a Canon 400D, natural light.
