Cusco, Peru’ ! / While walking in Cusco a few days ago I met this little girl, Flor, and her sister Yolanda ! I had already taken a picture of them last year ” Flor y Yolanda ” and when I showed them a copy of the photo.. they were so impressed that they asked me to take more pictures. This is just one of the many I took ! She is so confident and loves to be photographed !!! I love this picture for the way she poses here, the way she smiles, her spontaneity.. and the beautiful contrast of colors !!!

Cusco, Perú !!! / This is one of the first shot I took in Cusco this year !!! / I had just arrived and I was feeling a bit strange and not really in the mood to take pictures of people.. I was maybe thinking about life a bit too much ! / But when she passed by I said something funny to her and pressed the bottom !! / I´m glad i did !

Even dragons are not out of place in the imagination of children. The tail end of the dragon on the roof of the Providence Children’s Museum. Crossprocessing Velvia F slide film really oversaturated the red and increased the contrast. The Diana camera created a soft light leak on the top of the tail and some slight vignetting. Featured on Red Bubble Home Page on Mothers day 2009 this is my mom… and that is you know who.. her great grand child :))))))))))))) on the cruise to Mexico.. the amazing thing is that this is one in a series of the sweetest looks and hugs between them.. we were entertained and were just awwwwwing.. it was so spontaneous and sweet. / and!! this is one of my faves. it makes it double extra special because it was the day of my moms birthday of 83 years in 2007.. which is why we went on a cruise . all of us sisters. were there. and she got to go to the place of her dream since childhood.. What fun this was to make. / The layers I used to create this included: / CG textures and Plaster Old CG Textures. The Plaster Old CG Texture was used as the primary jpg. I built Sister Solstice on top of it. I used CG Textures (snow and ice texture) in selective parts of the work. I took this picture in the bus that was taking me from Jujuy ( north of Argentina ) to La Quiaca, at the border with Bolivia ! This child was sitting just next to me. / Loved the way his father was looking after him, although he fell asleep more than once leaving the little child curiously looking around when at some point he stared at me for so long that I had the time to get my camera and take this picture !
