Distraction is one of the main things that make us forget the enchantment and wonderment of life. / Children—-they don’t do this. This is my beautiful grandson Rhett. / I shot thousands of photos of him—-this one captured that rarest of transparent moments that makes you miss the mystery. It is the embodiment of all that which we wish we could protect them from losing. This one is for all the Grandparents like me--who don’t get to see our precious grandchildren often enough. They are that stirring of soul-that spark of hope-that reason. I miss this precious face—I miss hearing “Papaw Crum?” I miss my grandbaby. I hope you never have to miss yours. I LOVE YOU RHETT, / Papaw Crum
