Meet Mo. He is a little squirrel who loves the quiet of the darkness. He loves making wishes and shooting them into the sky towards the twinkling stars! Will his wishes all come true? This is a print of an original illustration that I did with ink and digitally colored. Mo and Teeny are two little squirrels that live in my head….they had to come out eventually! I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons. Sold 2 laminated prints to RB Members.

Cusco, Peru’ ! / While walking in Cusco a few days ago I met this little girl, Flor, and her sister Yolanda ! I had already taken a picture of them last year ” Flor y Yolanda ” and when I showed them a copy of the photo.. they were so impressed that they asked me to take more pictures. This is just one of the many I took ! She is so confident and loves to be photographed !!! I love this picture for the way she poses here, the way she smiles, her spontaneity.. and the beautiful contrast of colors !!!

Cusco, Perú !!! / This is one of the first shot I took in Cusco this year !!! / I had just arrived and I was feeling a bit strange and not really in the mood to take pictures of people.. I was maybe thinking about life a bit too much ! / But when she passed by I said something funny to her and pressed the bottom !! / I´m glad i did !

I began to climb when we got the region..And then, I climbed around 5000 ft.. Then the mist began.. So I had to stop climbing cause it was getting risky and I dont like making mistakes “in purpose”.. I waited around 10 mins but saw the mist was coming up on me.. So I gave up and decided to go back down.. :)) This time it didnt want me to climb.. So I got back and after 5 mins, storm began with the wind.. :(( (anyways, I did the right ) / In this week we will try again and again… Although we get the forecast from the satellite, it doesnt somehow match (or it changes too fast) :)) I keep posting them in serie :) / This one is one of the first shots when I got to region.. / Well I keep trying :)) TAke Care All :)) / Region Arhavi -TURKEY

Chefchaouen, Northern Morocco / Canon 400D My boyfriend Unai (who is a basque photojournalist) and I were working together there for a few days two months ago :) It’s a magical blue paradise hidden between mountains!!! Children accompanied us throughout an afternoon, they felt a lot of curiosity about digital photography (this is a small village and the only one photo store there is an analog one). Timidly at first and very naturally later, they asked us many things about it. Sixth artwork in my new Wonderland series, based off of Lewis Carroll’s “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” ”`Well!’ thought Alice to herself, `after such a fall as this, I shall think nothing of tumbling down stairs! How brave they’ll all think me at home! Why, I wouldn’t say anything about it, even if I fell off the top of the house!’ (Which was very likely true.) – “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” Original artwork measures approx. 12.5×19” and was created with oil pastels, colored pencils, metaliic silver pens, and marker. Ahh summer has arrived early for some of us this year. After a day at the beach last weekend, I was able to get that good old feeling back that only summer can bring! These kids were playing around at the beach, and I couldn’t help but be reminded of a time in life when going to the beach, making a sand castle, digging a hole to fill when tide comes in, finding something living a rock and burying someone in sand were the best things you could ever do. Life’s simple pleasures. I live for a sunny day.
