Took this a couple of weeks ago of my little girl at the beach and realised it’s potential this morning when I started to play with the colour, light and layers so of course I though that I would share!

my fave subject in the whole world….love capturing her, which was how my passion in photography started in the first place :) she was playing with her winnie the pooh doll, she even tried giving him some water lol :P processed to mimic a film exposure….added some grain and extra noise to enhance the mood and give the film look. Featured on Australian Portraits group in April 2009 /

Acrylic On Canvas For those who may not be that familiar with Phoebe, she’s a patchwork bunny doll and the baby of the trio. She enjoys putting on all kinds of quirky caps and hats, she is never seen without them! I liked this image of my little girl as, to me it’s a simple and dreamy capture of childhood where it’s always happy, uncomplicated with bright colours, fluffy white clouds and sparkly light.

Acrylic On Canvas Ophelia,Phoebe and Mel having fun on the elephant’s back….and elephant was pleased to have their company as well! :D This was painted in May’08 and I remembered I had a yearning to want to visit Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand :D..so that was why I painted these 3 friends having an outing with the elephant….because there are many elephant reserves there in Chiang Mai, where they protect these precious animals from harm.
