Can you feel it? Love and care… I have taken this photograph because I’ve seen a lovely picture of love and care before my eyes… / Two years later I went back to the negative, scanned it (with love and care, of course; here I mean taking care for properly balanced lights and shadows above all, with no important details lost, because the photograph was taken in a room with poor light), made some minor corrections (color curves, desaturated, toned…) and added a frame with text. Always You Are Special / by Karin Taylor / a digital design / 3 sales so far! / I designed this as a collaboration with Amber Elizabeth / and have added my own words to present a special message to friends/children… “No matter what kind of mood you are in, you are special to me” It is always such an encouraging message for children to know that they are loved no matter how they might feel inside. It helps them to feel safe and secure, and gives them permission to go through the gamut of emotions without being too concerned that they won’t be loveable if they display emotions other than happiness. dedication – for my beautiful daughter Sarah who is turning 16 very soon / I love you Sarah!!
