I shot a BB game Friday night and the local elementary came to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. I spotted this one little girl looking so shy and a bit scared. I wanted to tell her how beautiful she is, so I attempted to express that with this portrait. I will find out who she is and give her Mom a copy. painted in PsCs4

This one was done with a wink and a smile. I know the “aw look the baby is a flower” thing has been done before but I couldn’t resist when I saw my cousin Anina’s baby girl Arianna’s cute little smile. All resources, Arianna’s picture excepted, my own, taken on my Canon Powershot A480 point and shoot. Elements 2.0 used to compose this image. Photoshop brush provided by Trisste. Proudly New Zealand-made! :) Featured in The Sisterhood Oct 8, 2009.

(please enjoy the music, it will enhance the viewing process, see below) / – Best Viewed Larger As I pass amidst this in-between / My eyes aglow with fire. / I search about the skies above / To find my child’s sire. This man I loved not long ago / Has left to travel far. / Once I saw his wayward ship / Landing upon a star. Yet my eyes still seek, / My heart still yearns. / For my own true love / My body burns. Hey may not know, even now, / I carry a part of him. / He left me not so long ago, / Alone I am again. But soon, I feel, he will return, / Our feelings travel far. / And once again his questing ship / Will set upon this star. Yet, if he should not come to me, / I will not be forlorn. / For then a new shall have come to me, / Our child will be born. a rhonda original© Thank you for the following: / Eye Stock 03 by `Sugargrl14 / Planet & Star Brushes / Free stock images from stock.xchng.com Honorably Featured: /
