Ok so as the story goes… this was right place right time with a camera and imagination…. / I had just taken Dylan (son, featured) to the park for his afternoon play and was carrying around my Canon 20D (getting old now.. poor baby) and 50mm lens.. When we spotted this tiny little heart on the ground.. 1+1=2.. :D (I think?)

I was thinking about my Nanna the other day….one story she used to tell when I was little…..was that you can tell the time using Dandelyons…....if you count how many blows it takes you to blow off all the seeds…then thats what time it is….I found myself telling the same story to my little girl…...thats the inspiration behind this image….

This is the effect that the TV + The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy has on my daughter…...I am told that the ladies underwear section of the Littlewoods catalogue and Kate Moss clutching rose petals to her knockers in that new perfume advert has the same effect on me….....even waving chocolate under her nose …...and I am led to believe that chocolate is suitable distraction therapy for all women….. won’t get her attention….. Captivation….......

Grace is desparate to be big and go off and do things by herself…...she doesn’t believe me when I say being ‘big’ is not that much fun sometimes and that I wish I was 4 again…....It would be awesome sometimes to fun off like this without a care…...because mum and dad are there to catch you if you fall….....

Chefchaouen is a city in northwest Morocco. It is the chief town of the province of the same name. Chefchaouen is situated in the Rif Mountains, just inland from Tangier and Tetouan. The city was founded in 1471, as a small fortress which still exists to this day, by Moorish exiles from Spain to fight the Portuguese invasions of northern Morocco. It was known as one of the main concentrations of Moriscos and Jews who sought refuge in this mountainous city after the Spanish Reconquista in medieval times. In 1920, the Spanish seized Chefchaouen to form part of Spanish Morocco. They returned the city after the independence of Morocco in 1956. The name ‘Chefchaouen’ refers to the shapes of the mountain tops that tower over the town, that look like the two horns (chaoua) of a goat. It literally means “look at the horns”. The blue-rinsed houses and buildings, are a tradition that comes from the town’s former Jewish population. lol ok its little ole me. I’ve noticed quite a few people are adding images of themselves in their younger years so i figured i’d share as well. This is a shot of me in kindergarten.( sorry guys wasn’t kindergarden.. must have been grade 2 or three lol ) oops.. many many moons ago lmao.. if i remember correctly it was my teacher who took this shot.
