Ok so as the story goes… this was right place right time with a camera and imagination…. / I had just taken Dylan (son, featured) to the park for his afternoon play and was carrying around my Canon 20D (getting old now.. poor baby) and 50mm lens.. When we spotted this tiny little heart on the ground.. 1+1=2.. :D (I think?)

“Listen a hundred times; ponder a thousand times; speak once.” / - TURKISH PROVERB My son Kane had no idea I was photographing him at this time…He was just wondering sweetly along a path in a local parkland area when suddenly he stopped and leaned on the fence. I honestly could not believe what I was seeing through my viewfinder when he did it. Then when I saw the photograph it just blew me away. Kane is 3 years old in this photograph. This is my all time favourite photograph I’ve taken with my DSLR to date. Played with the colour version in photoshop and am very pleased with the outcome. documenting a day in a life of a photographer…..lol Im sure many of you can relate to this :P she obviously observed me quite a bit…and a while back she has claimed my little spare tripod that i used to mount my flash on….it is now full of stickers (her trademark of course) and she ‘mounted’ her hello kitty camera on top (when i say “MOUNTED” that means held together with a piece of hair tie LOL) Check out the picture i took of her from my camera along with her so called “equipment” here NOTE: for Nikon DSLR group, this shot was taken with a Nikon D300 and Tamron 17-50mm lens. The Nikon camera in the picture mounted on the tripod is a Nikon D80 with a 50mm lens.
