  • A street photo taken at Changi Airport, Singapore. Using the natural light as backlighting, these people were quickly snapped in silhouetted as they were walking away. I’m surprised how similar these people are. They echoed each other in terms of being in a pair. Also, the pairs in the foreground are single dad with their only child. All this captured at the time 16:57.

I gave her some tissues so she could wipe her nose, but she seemed puzzled by what they were used for, and then her cheeky brother ran off with them and she burst into tears. A few minutes later all was forgot and they were playing and posing together for photos.

  • Image by photographer Glennis Siverson, www.glennisphotos.com. Photo was featured on the RB home page on 6/12/08. “I will not wish thee riches, nor the glow of greatness, but that wherever thou go some weary heart shall gladden at thy smile, or shadowed life know sunshine for a while. And so thy path shall be a track of light, like angels’ footsteps passing through the night.” / Words on a Church Wall in Upwaltham, England (I got this quote from talented RB artist Marny Barnes.)
