Here is the image following ‘Red Ribbon’. My little girl worked out how to open the heavy back gate and thought she could escape into the big park at the back of our new house. I decided to add this image to satisfy the curiosity of everyone who wanted to know what she saw through the hole in the gate!

I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons. Sold 2 laminated prints to RB Members.

She gave each of them a big, big hug after and thanked them for making this the best birthday ever. / “Er, just before I do go home, how did you know it was my birthday anyway?” / “You could say a little bird told us.” The bear said gently and they all began to laugh…read more You can contact Carrie at: carrie@carrieglennstudios.com and please visit Carrie Glenn Studios* /

‘Inspirational Series’ card by Karin Taylor Where is Red Dog is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper using ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal. The original painting was inspired by the legend of ‘Red Dog’, aka ‘The Pilbara Wanderer’ of Western Australia. Red Dog was a loyal friend and stout companion to all who knew him. In this painting, the girl on the skateboard represents us in our search for love and acceptance and ‘Red Dog’ symbolises that quintessential spirit of the friend, whose love and acceptance we all yearn for.
