Okay, here we have one of the baby snowy egrets biting the bill of dad. They are looking for food that dad had brought back to the nest. This nest was in a tree along a path at the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Florida. They do not belong to the zoo, they are free. Taken with Nikon D40 w/ 55-200mm Nikkor lens.

1 of my 5 new chicks. I set up a little space with an old curtain and a cup and saucer and took photos of the chick doing whatever it wanted to do. This is my fave of the ones I took. I think my little experimental studio worked great:)

A move away from my usual nudes and layering methods used for my paintings, these girls form part of a series of Groovy Chicks, the striking colours suit most homes and this painting nearly ended up in the local magistrates office only it was a little to big….. Will upload the others soon, enjoy
