even though i only have a few pieces, i cherish these handpainted dishes. / i have been collecting them, and no two were purchased in the same location or even in the same State. sometimes i go to thrift shops to see what kind of treasures i can find, and i am always delighted when i find one these !! The Chianti bottle is one of my art projects. / It is made of pottery, glazed inside, and the outside i coloured with chaulks and then sealed it with a light varnish. one of the displays in the china cabinet in my kitchen. original photograph digitally enhanced with gold edges
