One of my all time favourite cars.
This old Chev sits awaiting a promise of restoration, meantime it catches the raindrops of a passing thunderstorm.

1970 Chevy Blazer “Freak Show” giving it all he had at the local mud races at Dennis Anderson’s Muddy Motor sports track in Currituck, North Carolina. /
I love 58 Chevy’s…one of my favorite cars. An old shot that I was able to salvage because of my editing skills improving. Needless to say I am happy I was able to! Now generally as a rule of thumb, I would KO the powerlines, but this time I left them in intentionally. Why? Well I started to KO them then went back, after noticing that without them, the telephone pole is just kinda strange and they add a sense of perspective in this shot. Processed with Photoshop, LucisArts, Virtual Photographer, about 7 layers, and custom color retro actions using curves. —-—-—-—-—-- / More of my work can be seen on my website at http://jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. The lady in green. Linköping, Sweden, May 2008.
The remains of a 1939 Chevrolet or GMC (I believe) logging truck. The bed was probably removed to be used on another truck. The image has been processed to enhance the lighting and colors on this abandoned old vehicle, projecting a nostalgic aura of times gone by. This would be a wonderful and beautiful conversation piece for any den.

An old rusting Chevrolet Stylemaster, sitting in a paddock with the promise of restoration, one day.
The motor in this old Chev. Stylemaster sadly doesn’t run quite as well as it used to, these days !!! / This was just one of those “Magic Moments” when the kitten was in the right place at the right time !! Pentax istDS Camera
scanned from a 35mm tranny and I am STILL coming to terms with the unpredictability of working with photographic materials that were around long before scanners were even heard of…
This car was just recently in Street machine, I took this shot at a car show and then got rid of the background and the people standing around it.
