Oils on canvas board 16”x20” 1999 Tonal painting using 2 colours only – Ultramine Blue & White. / I used brushes for the horse & a palette knife for the background. This painting was my first sale at a members exhibition in Taree, NSW Australia. I can still remember being excited about this painting being sold, it’s wonderful when someone buys your work.

I invite you to make a joint effort and generate a difference. Take a look around and help your microcosmos become a better place for all in it. Help lessen the suffering of innocent Earth dwellers. “Let us think of innovative ways to ask legislators to pass bills to protect animals, to grant funds to shelters and charities and to put an end to illegal and cruel practices upon animals. Let us support the police task force that enforces the law protecting pets from cruel situations. “Let us be creative and help find a healthy alternative to logging and the depletion of natural habitats. “For the end of horseracing of every kind. Painted with sumi ink on rice paper with asian brushes in both hands simultaneiously from sketches made from grazing horses while on painting retreat in La Rochelle on the mid atlantic coast of France. I frequently work in isolation for a number of months to create a new body of work, and these personified horses were amusing companions in France.
