  Well, I finally got my computer back and working. Now all I have to do is catch up with all the editing I have to do. So it will still be a bit longer before I am really running in full mode, but…I will definitely try to be catching up on some of the comments you have all left me.   Here it is the 11th of Dec in the year 2007! WOW, can’t believe the year is almost over. It seems to have passed so fast for me. Uneventful mind you, but fast! :) But in the year 2007 I can say that I sold my first piece of work. And that is fascinating to me and very exciting. Sales have slowed down now and I haven’t sold anything lately, but I must say it’s been exciting here on RedBubble. I love it here. I’ve met so many wonderful people, everyone here is so laid back and nice. I haven’t read nor had one mean comment from anyone. This is an exciting place. So much to do and so many groups to join in on their fun. I’ve learned how to make T-Shirts and Calendars, as well as having the opportunity to sell my photos. What else could one ask for in a year! And all of that has happened in just the last month of it. lol I just wanted to tell everyone to have a very Merry Christmas and the best of New Years. / Please be safe, happy, joyful and spread the cheer!   Just a quick entry to say Happy New Year to all my Bubble Friends! Thank you for all you support in 2007…I hope to be able to recipricate in 2008. Right now I am having problems with my computer and unable to do any editing or other things due to the buttons on my mouse pad not working. It is really hard not having them. You don’t realize how often you use them and for what you need them for until they aren’t there. :) I will be taking it to the doctor this week sometime, weather permitting, and hopefully be back up and moving by the end of the week. In the mean time, I will be checking in on all my friends here! Please have a wonderful and Happy New Year! May you all be prosperous and blessed in the New Year! God Bless and many Hugz to all!!   A lot of this is in my profile, but thought I’d put it in here as well, for you all to read more about me. ;) After all I’m SOOOOOOOOO interesting…LOL (Kidding) I am an amateur photographer that has taken photos all my life, but about 2 years ago I got a bit more serious with it and wanted to learn more and more about it. Which this took me to learning more and more about editing as well I enjoy editing photos as much as taking them. I’ve played in PS, ACDSee Pro and many other editors. I use PS for 90% of my editing. / / I have been disabled for the past 10 years with a spinal injury and don’t get out and about much to take many photos other than in my own house and property. I have found I love Macro photography, especially flowers. But love to experiment with all types of shots. I live upstate NY in God’s Country where the landscape photography is endless, the sunrises and sunsets here are just outrageous as well as some clouds formations like I’ve never seen anywhere else. So I have all sorts of opportunities to take all types of shots. I am happily married and have been for 23 looong years ;), we have one daughter, Megan which is 20 yrs old and attending College right now. I also have one dog, Princess of my own, and raising my daughters little LeeLa at the moment too, until my daughter can find a place where she can take her. :( We also have a TOM cat named Buddy and adopted two turtles when my daughter came back to live with us and my hubby raises Guppies. So you see we have a full food chain here…lol I also have a lot of my photography in a Picasa Web site so my family and friends can view it. It is http://picasaweb.google.com/cherirperry in case you wish to see more of my photography and family. It is there to share with everyone. Please feel free to leave me comments on any of the photos on there (And here too of course). So have I touched on everything now since I’ve been asked by a couple of people to start a journal?   I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for all the nice comments and views you have all been so nice to leave me. I remember about 2 years ago when I had a little 110 film camera that I was shooting with and then my hubby got me my first digital camera for Christmas (Olympus C-60 Zoom)....wow did I find a whole new world of photography. I took some of my first shots and they turned out so nice that I decided to find a photography site on line and submit it and see what happens with it. That is when I found TPW (ThePhotographersWorkshop.com)...which is where I met so many new people and some of you are still with me. I learned so much so fast. I am thankful for all of your help (and many others I’ve met) as we’ve been together for these past couple years. You’ve helped me grow with the comments and reviews and help along the way. I recieved my newest camera (as I graduate even further into photography). Again, my hubby bought it for me for my birthday last Sept (2007), a Cannon 350D Rebel XT. WOW WOW WOW…What a whole new world I’ve found again! I am still learning, and will always continue to learn as I grow. You can never know too much! You see, I’ve always been one to want to learn everything and anything. I have to know why and how it works…lol (to a point..lol). With this new camera I have yet taken another step in to the big world of photography and what a difference it has made. I appreciate all your comments and kind words, but I would also appreciate any suggestions or critiques you’d like to give me, as they are what have brought me this far. I can take criticism as hard as it can come…I’ve been critiqued by some of the toughest (as Malu and Judy know too well…LOL ). But with these harsh critiques, I continue to learn and grow. So please, lay it on me…I can take it! But I would like to say thank you everyone for all your kind comments you have left me so far. I look forward to seeing all your art work. I love to view as much as submit so….keep them coming. And may we all continue to grow and learn every day! And thank you for being my friends…without you I wouldn’t be here and I’d have no reason to continue to babble on and on here! :) Hugz to all!!

  Hope every ones week and weekend went well. It’s cold here now and the leaves are falling like rain on this wonderful 27 degree morning. (Wish it would decided if it’s winter or fall…lol) We are supposed to get lot’s of rain this week. We had our first snow fall on Friday…nothing to speak of, nothing stuck, but it sure snowed like crazy for awhile here. I lost $100 to my father in law over it. I bet him it would snow at his place first. UGH! Oh well, at least it was to him and not on the pony’s…lol I am wondering about this site after being on here for a couple weeks now. I love it, don’t get me wrong. It is so calm and not so much hussle and bussle like “other” sites we all know and love….I like no ratings too! But the sales came so fast at first because we sold and bought from each other. :) I’m not complaining, but are we ever going to see our sales money since you have to sale so much before they will give it to you? Sales are slow to be had on here I think…I hope I am wrong and things will look up. What is everyone else’s thoughts on this? Maybe it is just a down day for me…lol Well I hope you all have a wonderful week…I’ll be sure to check in with all of you. Hugz / Cheri

  Well I spent some time yesterday pulling some older photos out of my collection and created some Christmas scenes with them. I then uploaded a couple of them and within minutes I received so many comments on them. Then I wake up this morning and was so excited when I saw sooooo many more comments and compliments on them. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH! You are all too kind. / / I have been working hard trying to get some editing done and also making Christmas cards to get uploaded here. OK I’ll just say…I’ve been keeping my self very busy lately…. I also wanted to tell all of you that I made another sale yesterday. I was so excited. Gotta love this site. Other than trying to get some Christmas Cards made, I haven’t done much with my life in the last week. Still babying a sick dog waiting for some test results (we think she may have a Thyroid problem), trying to do some scrap booking (that is what I’m giving for xmas gifts this year), and trying to get out and take some Fall shots before the leaves are all gone. We are supposed to get our first bit of snow this week so we may even get some snow shots already. UGH! OK, that’s my update for the week. I’ll fill you all in later. But most of all I really wanted to say THANK YOU EVERYBODY for all you nice comments and compliments. I also want to add that I would definitely appreciate any criticism or suggestions you might have on any of my photos. I don’t want any photos of mine going up here that you might think needs something done to them. So please, let me know if there is anything you see that needs my attention in any way.
