This shot was taken at a scenic overlook on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Sept.2008 This little boy was running around the area with his pants falling down, so I snapped this shot during one of the few short periods of time when he actually stood still. He was trying to get a view of the water, but wasn’t tall enough to see through the view finder. / We all, (including his parents who were standing beside me as I took the photo) got a huge laugh when I showed everyone the picture.

This is a little girl from the Lake Titicaca region in Bolivia. / Apparently children in this area develop very red cheeks because they don’t dry their faces properly after washing – and the cold wind damages the wet skin.

I was sitting at home one night with my little baby girl all tucked up in bed and i felt like i needed to have a little me time, so out came the roll of ikea paper, the pencils, the marker pens, the sharpener and a rubber. This was the end result :) / I can never get away from swirls and flowers!!!! /

The title is a line from the Roger Miller song called England Swings. Taken in England by an Aussie…. LOL The image was taken in November 2007 from the London Eye side of the Thames.

I made this photo with the 40’s in mind. A bit of an old fashioned feel yet I liked to also have it look like today. Old and new in one. All editing done in Photoshop.
