Original Bunbury Lighthouse built in 1870. The checkered lighthouse which dates back from 1959 on top of the more recent section which was built in 1971. Look carefully and you can see a join about 10 metres from the ground. The original lighthouse has been attached to the present one. The Light is now 25 metres above the ground and can be seen 27 km out to sea.

/ Years ago I took a piece of plywood and cut it to the dimensions of my trusty family checkerboard that was falling apart. I marked off the squares, painted the black ones black, but the white ones I painted several colors, following the wood grain. I coated it all with several coats of tung oil. It doubled as a chess/checker game board and wall art. This reminded me of that fun checkerboard, so I thought I’d share the memory while I shared this image! :) / Featured in ADAWG. Thank you! :)
Teddy, found the game room! Chinese Checker boards are metal and marked The Ohio Art Co. They were both found while on a thrifting adventure. Marbles- are a mix of my childhood ones & newer. Teddy is a 1977 Build -A-Bear rescued from a thrift store. Featured in Passionate About Vintage Featured in Dolls & Teddy Bears Cannon Macro Editing- Corel. A slight fade was added.
