The Karma for me and I believe lots of other Rugby League fans from around the world. The recent history of the Bulldogs can at best be described as colourful, and 2008 finally delivered the clubs just deserves. BTW, the “wooden spoon” is a prize you win for coming last in Rugby League.

Here I was trying for a cheat HDR look. / First, I did the classic HDR thing – combined 3 shots of varying ‘exposure’ (actually same image manipulated with curves) and also of varying transparency, blending them together. – That did absolutely nothing. / So, merged them all as one image and played with curves, and brightness/contrast. Then, while playing with the hue/saturation discovered the sky look I wanted, so kept that as a separate path. / The water stayed its natural colour, only changing the contrast. / This is Mick Smith’s experiment with the same image: / / / He tried some Nik filters in CS3 /
