A vocal Australian Sea Lion, Kangaroo Island, SA, Australia. The mother seals go out fishing for 3 days at a time, and swallow rocks to allow them to descend to the bottom of the ocean (similar to the effect of wearing a dive belt). The sea lion pups wait anxiously on the beach, often running up and down it calling for their parent.
