Medium: Acrylic and Watercolour Paint on Paper / Size: A4 / Description: About an octopus who has developed a suit so that he may walk with the humans. A piece to fulfill my curiosity with octopuses and old looking diving helmets. The character’s odd infatuation with the human race mirrors my own with his species. Completed in 2008. A drawing for a children’s story i wrote once. It is drawn in pen and ink, and coloured in photoshop. This is where i started to learn how to use p’shop.

It’s part calendar, part storybook! Each month features a short (very kid friendly) story of one of SpaceKid’s many adventures throughout the cosmos. Wacky aliens, even wackier planets, and wacky situations that make the wacky-meter go completely bonkers! / I can almost guarantee that you’ll not find a calendar quite like this one anywhere…ever. / (I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing exactly, but it’s the truth.)
Another illustration featuring some characters from my novel. I kind of dig this one. The background is hotter than the surface of the sun! Okay, o maybe I am being a bit dramatic…but it does look pretty cool.

This fractal Apophysis design reminds me a bit of the TV “star” IT. This one is IT’s sister. She is hoping that you love her. Created with Apophysis and a script. I did postwork with Photoshop. Designer: Thea Walstra / /

4 sales so far / Little Profiles new Christmas Series range to check out also: / / Hi…these little pen drawings were drawn on a slip of scrap paper when far too tired doing silly doodles at 2am – strange little thoughts creep in at such a late hour … welcome to Little Profiles – a new series ..i guess the idea behind the series is that at times we take life so seriously and it’s good to have a little bit of a lighthearted look at ourselves and a fit of giggles now and then is good for the soul.. probably a good one to have on the back of the toilet door :) / Rear of Calendar To view each artwork larger and read the captions, please click on the appropriate month: / Jan Feb / Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug / Sep Oct / Nov Dec
