Caught this guy crossing the road near the Natural History Museum and thought he was a colourful looking chap with his clothes/scarves/etc. I liked the green background which was a building in the middle of the road he was stood by before attempt to cross a very busy road. I bet he has some amazing stories to tell….

Picture taken in our garden at Chichester Sussex UK.Since I put up a birdfeeder about a month ago, I have so far seen 8 different species visit.The European Starling being the most common.It is like having a garden full of naughty schoolchildren straight off the school bus,land in ones garden,they are constantly bickerring ,pushing ,shoving,and aerial dive bombing each other ,and chatterring as if there were no tomorrow.They have a different sound for all occasions,even when our cat Cato is in the garden,they warn each other.

dave and collin are two lovely but very difrent personality’s for lizards , collin is chilled right out , he is like a sixty’s throwbck not like there is anything wronge with the sixty’s , / collin is an out going chameleion , he comes out on my bike , train , and car , but his mate dave , will take your bloody finguer off, as soon as he see’s your little finguer wiggling , he is off , hissing , whipping with his tail, and damn right rude really but hey , / they are only a foot long after all , / but dave is getting better his table manners have improved , / a little not allot but a little , / bit more work soon have him like collin lol / keep tuning in to see how they are ,

while driving along i spotted this guy on the road (commonly known as bob-tail skinks) he wasn;t happy when i went to touch him but it made for a great shot.

This cheeky fellow thinks that the peanuts in the bird feeding hopper are there, just for him!! This poses a problem for me, however. Here in Northumberland, UK, we still have a small group of our precious Red Squirrels. But this image was taken about ten miles away, in a Nature Reserve. I feel these greys should be trapped and culled, to protect our indigenous reds. Kielder Forest, in NW Northumberland is the last stronghold; I hope we can help our reds to survive and thrive. Taken with my Olympus SP550UZ, using the fast Sports mode.
