The inhabitants of O Grove, Spain, work hard at shellfish gathering and shallow-water fishing, as well farming of mussels, oysters and scallops on wooden platforms out in the water. However, their dreams may take them to a more glorious way of life, as the images on the walls of the harbour show. Canon PowerShot SX1 IS, 1/500 s, f/4.5, ISO 80 / / See also: /
This photographic still life of beautiful candles is one of my memorials to Michael Jackson. Many people did not know that / the song “Smile” was Charlie Chaplin’s final silent picture in the movie Modern Times in 1936. It became popular when Nat “King Cole recorded it and Robert Downey Jr. sang it in the movie, Chaplin. This poignant song was performed by the “Jackson 5” group member and elder brother of MJ Jermaine Jackson while trying not to break down during the song at the memorial ceremony of Michael Jackson on July 7, 2009. / The song Smile written and performed by the funniest man of the world Charlie Chaplin, who one said “I love to walk in the rain, so no one can see my tears”, is an wonderful tribute / to Jermaine Jackson’s beloved brother and can be / viewed on YouTube during Michael Jackson’s memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. / The song “Smile” was one of MJ’s favorites, and even though the lyrics of the song advise everybody to smile even if your heart is broken, the audience at the memorial ceremony could not help but get teary, while Jermaine Jackson delivered an emotional performance of the song. My husband Charlie and I / watched the elegant memorial as tears streamed down my face in disbelief that we had lost “Peter Pan” from Neverland. / Charlie who was an event planner before striken with / Parkinson’s disease several years ago produced / multiple events at Neverland for numerous charities / given by Michael. He was a delightful big kid who / rode around on a golf cart to ensure that the kids, many / who were dying from cancer had everything they needed / to enjoy his private fantasy land. I was blessed to meet / this magical soul with a huge generous heart who gave / multi-millions to charties all around the world breaking / boundaries to do whatever he could to ease the suffering of children worldwide. The memorial service of Michael Jackson was a moving, touching event full of tears. His family and friends shared lots of memories from the past. / His legend will live on in his songs forever. Rest in peace Michael. You will be missed. / Please view this in the large format. “Smile though your heart is aching; / Smile even though it’s breaking. / When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by. / If you smile through your fear and sorrow, / Smile and maybe tomorrow, / You’ll see the sun come shining through for you. Light up your face with gladness, / Hide every trace of sadness. / Although a tear may be ever so near, / That’s the time you must keep on trying, / Smile, what’s the use of crying? / You’ll find that life is still worthwhile, / If you just smile.” First recorded by Nat King Cole in 1955 / Later recorded by Natalie Cole in the 1991 album, / Unforgettable With Love / Lyrics by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons / Music written by Charlie Chaplin for his 1936 silent movie classic, Modern Times

As a comic genius Charlie Chaplin was the Worlds Court Jester so this colour variation of my Charlie Chaplin T-shirt design has been created to give that court jester appearance similar to those found on playing cards. There is also a Black & White variation of this version available on request.
The Black & White version might be more in keeping with my original Chaplin design so here it is in BW
